Hey, this discussion brings up a question for me. (Probably been discussed already in plenty of other places, but it's relevant.) I'm guessing in DA there aren't any consequences for one's actions, in terms of good - neutral - evil, lawful / chaotic, etc., as in NWN and other D&D-base games? Only the roleplay value of adhering to a code (or not)?

Malnourished as they are, no wonder- but you could also put it down to that pathetic swish Caladrius. I highly doubt the Tevinters sent their best to collect a few sick elves from Ferelden.Skadi_the_Evil_Elf wrote...
Shows how useless the elves are. Even a bunch of them combined only give you a tiny boost. Maybe if they had sacrificed dwarves or quanari, you'd get boosts all over the place, plus a new specialization.

Then they need to be fattened up to make better sacrifices next time. My dwarf was very disappointed.

I always give the elves money after how the Alienage was trashed by the army during the Purge.
Heh, I was disappointed that the slavers were absolute garbage in combat. As someone who hates slavers, I wanted it to be more of a challenge. Probably in next play through I will raise the difficulty.
