I laughed for like two straight minutes. Glorious.

But more to the thread's question, the last FemShep was a "let's see ME2 so I know what questions I should be able to answer for future characterization" playthrough. Lilliana Collette Shepard, Navy brat turned war hero commando, named for her grandmothers. 'Lil' to some of the family, though she hates it. Trying to do the best she can for humanity, then Citadel space, with the twin weaknesses of a bad temper a mile wide and having fallen for the best man on the ship, damn the chirality of it. :wub:

I've played others, but I occasionally get on a tear of deleting my old saves and starting fresh.

Miranda. I kid you not. That was her name from ME1 waaaay before there was ME2. I named her after the planet in Serenity :D *whispers* "Mirandaaaaa..."

I assume pc only. I used the "setgender" command in the console after starting the game with default maleShep. With all the lines being voiced it worked out pretty well. A few spontaneous comments that came out in maleShep's voice and being referred to with the male pronoun were the only drawbacks.

Edited to add: Mass Effect 2 recognized my femShep as female and I still got the hug on Horizon from Ashley and the followup email. :wub:

Here's hoping Ashley still likes P.T. in ME3.

All my female Shepards are kudos to different franchises.

River (hard to find out, isn't it? :P)

Zoe (as in Dreamfall, my absolut favourite in adventure games)

Abbey (as Lt. Black in Clive Barker's Jericho, which game had serious flaws, but had a certain atmosphere to it)



The males are usually named afer novel characters, from my favourites and some from my first published novel. But that's off-topic.

Is a name that's short and to the point, assuming that names can be pointy. Also, I'm fairly certain that a small community of space miners once wrote a song about her. Or was that a "him?" Oh well, doesn't matter much I suppose.
