Midwesterners are hard working Americans who put great emphasis on respect and strong families.

Expatirates are Americans who usually have ties to another country whether it be family or a job overseas.
Expatriates are good people who bring America closer to the rest of the world.  They have my respect.

This whole post "like" reminded me of "like" the movie Clueless. Apparently, "like" Valley Girls exist in "like" the Mass Effect universe.
