But, I do have other things I can be doing, so any release date is at the back of my mind.

I'm not really big on wasting time arguing about silly release dates and PR issues, etc etc... it's kind of a useless time-killer.

Do you have problems reading? This about why the DLCs are not free. You have paid for them and as such it gives you the right to expect something from them. Like a simple thing: "When are they available?". If you buy a car then you want to know when the accessories you ordered with it arrive. Or do you just sit there and pray that BMW will provide them before you buy your next car?IssacG0ndel wrote...

I am sorry, but you are wrong about that. And there are two reasons for it.
The first one is the information from BioWare self about the release of the Cerberus Network. This information was available at the 19th of January 2010. And that information told us exactly what to expect: Zaeed, the Hammerhead and the Cerberus armor.
Source: Mass Effect 2 Download Content Plans Unveiled.
The second piece of information is EA's so called "Project 10 dollar". The idea is that newly bought EA software will get at least 10 dollar worth of downloadable content and that people who buy second hand software have to pay for it. Examples provided are ME2 and DA:O.
Source: EA's "Project Ten Dollar" explained.
So ... angry fanboys if it doesn't hit today = no trust in bioware for this DLC to be there when they promise = no point in buying new = Project Ten Dollar fails = EA dies? more or less?

As for DLC after that, I'm hoping that we get Eclipse's armor or the ME1 armor variants. It seems stupid to remove the ability to use ME1's medium and heavy armors which most if not all of the enemy NPCs use.
Some new armor would be nice. Unfortunately it doesn't benefit me in any way other then new dressup outfits since I wear the Human Bug (Collector) Armor in real combat.
It would be nice to start issuing real armor to my team though, aside from Grunt, Mordin, Garrus, Tali and Legion, they're all unarmored!

I'm hoping for Palaven the Turian homeworld. We've visited a very important Asari colony and Tuchanka, it's about time the Turians got some attention.
That's a great idea!
I'd love to see more of the Turian worlds.
Plus, it would give Garrus an opportunity to play tourguide.
And make some more wisecracks......

I'd say there's still a decent chance will either see it or at least get the announcement in the next 6 days, but yeah, all we can really do is sit and wait.

If i had a rough idea of when it comes out i'd know how far to keep going with my current play through (number 7
after playing it with every class at least once, i must say that vanguards and soldiers are the most fun i've had.

About your idea that BW already delivered the goodies (or didn't I understand you correctly?) I would say you are wrong about that. The Hammerhead DLC was part of the deal. Why do you feel the need to deny the facts?GreenSoda wrote...

That being said, it would be great if the Hammerhead DLC would
a) be released this week, andbe a meaningful addition to the game

They can simply tell what the problem is. If you want I can PM you a link to a dev of a game to be published by Stardock. It's public, but I don't want to post spoilers. You can read exactly what the status of development is, the design decisions, the concept art and even the problems the devs are facing. I think last month there was an issue with releasing the beta. They explain there was something wrong with semaphores (software concepts used in multi-tasking) that were hard to fix and caused the delay. Now... At least you now there is a problem, you know what the problem is and that it is casuing a significant delay. Heck, that is a beta. It's not even out yet. Still they give you the information if you want to. If not then don't read it. You don't want spoilers? Don't read the blog. It's all about being open. And BioWare is anything but that.DaftPaycheck wrote...
As for BW not giving us enough info, or misleading us...what do you want them to say? "Yes, we're working on it and it'll be out as soon as it's ready."? It's quite obvious that they're taking their time to work on the content instead of pushing it out into the market without proper testing just to meet some phantom deadline a few game owners have established. Bioware obviously wants to improve on their image when it comes to post launch content. They most likely want to rectify and avoid the same mistakes that plagued RTO's release, and I don't blame them for that considering how much heat they took from forum goers over that debacle.
I remember that there was an awful problem at the release date of one their games with their servers which caused a delay. Instead of coming up with a lie or an excuse, Stardock's CEO got a camera and filmed how the people at his company were fixing the problem. He published it on one of his webites. He doesn't have to do that. But you won't see many people complaining about how his company treats its customers.

Hell I would be happy if they would just let us know an estimated date for Kasumi/Hammerhead. On another note I am happy with the DLC so far.. Zaeed could have been better but that is neither here nor there. What I really want is some more side missions, armor, weapons and just DLC in general.
Whatever they do... Dont give me another Zaeed. IF your going to add another character... take the time to flesh them out properly.

Bioware should make a twitter:
"DLC... soon™"
True, they should provide information. Though I suspect they don't because of their recent issues with their other franchise achieving the target dates without major problems occuring.
But hey, at least this way they can blow by a target and don't have to say, "Ok, we haven't got it right yet, so just bear with us while we get it working."

To the people citing the BioTwitter which said we'd get DLC in a couple of weeks: have you guys even considered that they could have been referring to the Cerberus Assault Armor + Eviscerator?
It's all about sharks. Lrn2tweet.
If anything I predict Tuesday since that's usually Xbox-Update-Day.

That one was made a few hours ago, dear. This topic was made about a day ago. Learn to read.
That being said, it appears the OP did consider what I said... that's irony for ya.
