I posted over in the 360 tech support, but I guess I'm just too impatient to wait and see if there is an answer...

I'm playing the Fade and I've gotten the Golem shapeshifter and apparently no longer able to "Hulk Smash" doors???  I made it through a few then got nearly to the end of one of the sections - I could see the health bar of a big baddie behind a massive door - only Golem couldn't destroy the door.

Yes, I'm using the "boulder toss"....I've left this area and returned....I've tried the "smash" ability....tired the "boulder toss" practically on top of the door......    Aside from going back and reloading (which I'm loathe to do-I will mind you if its my only option) I don't know any other tricks to try. 

Anyone got any?

And on a side note I've even had hubby try to no avail...so its not all in the pink controller here...

I'm sorry, I should have clarified better...I'm playing on the Xbox 360...so its all button mashing here.

If that had been working before, try saving, exiting out of the game, and then starting it back up again and reloading that save.

Is it a spirit door by chance? Just wondering...

Sometimes it can just be a matter of distance.  It seems to be kinda buggy at times with position.  I'm on pc, but it has to be opened with the button that opens doors and not the talent commands.

I'd suggest just moving in closer or farther away trying different spots to see if it activates.  I've had to do that before to get it to work.
