I think it is very possible to cure Kepler's Syndrome, Thane just wasn't interested at the start of ME2 in looking for one. The codex stated that about a century ago the hanar discovered the drell and began moving them over to Kahje. Considering this timespan I would think that Kepler's Syndrome is a relatively new disease to the scientific community, and it seems like the hanar have been trying to deal with it on their own (and since when are the hanar known for their scientific acumen??).

If Thane was actually motivated (and a LI in ME2 would do this) he could speak to Mordin about it (hell, ANY Salarian). The disease itself sounds like a degenerative respiratory issue...human diseases of this nature (pneumonia) are treatable, and I have faith in Mordin. It would be completely unfair to the female fans if Bioware goes to the trouble of creating Thane for the SOLE PURPOSE OF BEING AN ALIEN ROMANCE just to kill him off.

Thane Cure DLC, k thnx bye!

I concur!

Idk he seemed too graceful and skillful to just die in action, I'd rather him die from the lung issue...
