Are we not AT LEAST owed comment by the end of the day?! Bioware CREATED our expectations.

They put out the twitter that said we would get content in a "couple weeks".

A Bioware Employee
(javierabegazo) (who, presumably, by default represents the company when he speaks here unless he says otherwise) confirmed that it wasn't the armor/shotgun, and that we should expect it this week.

If the worst happens, and we don't get it today - don't they at least owe us some commentary? I understand that I don't understand the actual process they go through to make the DLC - I won't be mad over anything there. But jerking the community around without care is not cool.

Hopefully they still prove us wrong and release it today, or at least comment ... but this silence concerns me.

And so the first spark in the haystack of expectations arose.

This should be interesting.

But honestly, yes, I do hope they announce today or not today soon too. I just can't help be transfixed by what it looks like these forums are heading towards.

After all the hate and discontent stirred up by RTO I'm guessing Bioware is being careful about announcing content.

Heh heh... I knew it was just a matter of time before people got angry.

As I've been trying to pound into people's heads the last few days, moderators do not equal DEVELOPERS. If someone's post doesn't have the name 'Bioware' under it, DON'T believe for a second that they speak for Bioware.

Calm down they were not that specific, the DLC could be buggy and they are trying to resolve it i would rather wait longer for a better quality product

What was so bad about RTO? I know I found it short and not different in any way from all the darkspawn butchering that you have to do in the rest of the game, but what was so bad about it?

You misunderstand me.  I'm not referring to the content itself, but all the crying on the forums after it was postponed several times.

Wow bold and italicized yelling. That's sure to get your point across. If your point is that you're a demanding whiny little **** with no life.

Unless you have a signed contract with a date at the bottom, you are not "owed" anything by the end of the day.

What you have is a game. Actually, you have a license for a game. You really have nothing. It is entertainment. No one is going to die or lose a limb because DLC comes out a day or two later than originally expected.

I'd say get a grip, but I need more of these crazy posts to keep me busy while I'm supposed to be working.

You seem far more abusive then the opening post. Infact, the name calling tends to reflect far more on you then him/her. Perhaps you should take a deep breath? That being said, I am not exactly waiting on pins and needles for the dlc, an update however would be neat.

Shut up Daewan, you irritate me. I dont care if it comes out today or not. They dont owe me anything. I am, however, stuck in a hospital bed with nothing better to do than read forums on my laptop, and from that perspective comments like Daewan's are canned troll responses that only serve to stir up more trouble.

Stop destroying the community please. I'd like the Devs to come back one day, but with people popping up without fail to throw gasoline onto every fire We're just going to get more of these stupid arguments. Arguments that are quite difficult to sift through for information.

Pointless nerd rage over. Powering down.

I wouldn't know, as they still haven't released the damn thing for the PS3 yet.

Ah, so our community requires pandering to screeching (well, the Internet equivalent anyway) in order to succeed. Duly noted. I shall restrain my sarcastic offensiveness forthwith.

Or not.

In my pathetic defense, I did mention I was bored....

p.s. anyone who takes Twitter as gospel should be beaten with wet noodles.

Calm down, nothing's been confirmed by anybody, moderators =/= bioware employees with inside knowledge. Also don't forget that it's Wednesday, last time I checked most calendars mark Wednesday as the middle of the week, there's a few days left for this "confirmed" info to still be accurate.

Also why are you complaining? Nowhere did BioWare sign a contract with you stating that they would provide x content for you by x date, they're doing this so their loyal customers can get more enjoyment out of their already purchased product. And assuming the next DLC will be covered by the Cerberus Network they're not even doing this for profit, it's just out of the goodness of their hearts.

I was with you until that last bit.

They're not doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.

They're doing it to combat the used games market. <_<

seriously? did you even read the first part of that sentence? If it's covered by the Cerberus Network nobody with a new copy of the game is going to have to pay anything for this DLC so all the man hours BioWare puts into it won't earn them another dime.

That's still got nothing to do with hearts and goodness.  More to do with Gamestop.
