And assuming the next DLC will be covered by the Cerberus Network they're not even doing this for profit, it's just out of the goodness of their hearts.

Sure, that's just how corporations roll.  Altruism.

seriously? did you even read the first part of that sentence? If it's covered by the Cerberus Network nobody with a new copy of the game is going to have to pay anything for this DLC so all the man hours BioWare puts into it won't earn them another dime.

Awesome DLC can convert software pirates to go legal, for one.

I wouldn't know, as they still haven't released the damn thing for the PS3 yet.

I'm sorry but LOL

What the hell? Does it make your PS3 blow up or something?

Last time I checked the end of the week is still a few days away.

Patience, child.

Bioware does not owe anything to one person here. They will release the DLC when they deem fit. They do not owe you a clarification or announcement. They do not owe you a date. They do not owe you any DLC whatsoever. Get over yourselves, people.

They did finally give out a date: about another 3 weeks.

People also have to understand that when the community bashes the company and complains about things they tend to take longer.

I was wondering when someone would post the obligatory "They owe you NOTHING, I tell you, NOTHING!"  lecture.  OK, thread's over, everyone can go home.

Actually, when we spend 60+ dollars on a game that  advertises DLC on the back of the box, then I'm pretty sure they DO owe us DLC.

seriously guys, take a look at codemasters before you blame bioware just because there's no comment at the end of the day.

Bioware said "a couple weeks" which isn't specific at all. Matter of fact it's ironic you're asking them to comment, because unless they have an exact date it's going to be vague again, and people will complain AGAIN. So to me anyway it's better for Bioware to not even comment until they have the exact date.

All the PR about it probably didn't do much to lower expectations either.

They have given you DLC.  Did the back of the box have a date on when it was all to be released?

Wow. either some people have goldfish memories or they didn't experience the utter bliss that was the 2 months between "this holiday season" and the actual release date of RtO.

Throwing a hissy accomplishes nothing.

Actually... no that's not true. Throwing a hissy over a vague release date will accomplish something. Eventually BioWare will tell us all to go ef ourselves and stop giving us free DLC.

You've already gotten DLC.  Zaeed, Eviserator shotgun, Cerebus Assualt Armor, Normandy Crash...all for free.

BioWare doesn't really owe you anything. It would be nice for updates, but they aren't obligated to do so.

At any rate, it's DLC. It's nothing to get worked up about.

Well, when the developers say there will be regular DLC before the game is released, which could affect my decision to buy the game, then as a paying customer I should expect them to release DLC regularly.

The game ain't even been out a month. We've gotten multiple DLCs, the last one came out 2 weeks ago. That is "regularly".

Who decides what regularly is?  You?  Give me a break - The game has been out for less than a month and they have released 3 DLC items, not including the Pre-Order bonuses.

Honestly, I would bet my mortgage that over 90% of the people complaining are of college age or below who believe they deserve everything immediately.  It's not the way it works people.

Javi is a mod, not a dev last I heard, and BioWare owes you jack. Now, take a chill pill or something. I swear, people seem to think they're entitled to pitch a fit when they don't get something right away in these forums.
