So I was playing the game on my ummmmm... 12th(th) playthrough. And I was being myself and reacting the way I would to certain people and situations. By the end of the game I told The Council, Cerberus and TIM to shove it. I have an army of Geth, Krogan, Rachni, and Quarians ready to support me. I am DONE bowwing down to those pretencious, selfrightious Council bastards anymore, as well as serving the needs of Cerberus in an attempt to put humanity ahead in the Galaxy. I am really hoping that in ME3 we really are able to see how our decesions effect the game. I really do want an army of Geth, Krogan, Rachni and Quarians to follow me into the battle for the galaxy and I want to be able to do it without The Alliance and Cerberus.

I wasn't confined to only being Paragon or Renegade because I removed myself from that shackle with a save game editor. Without getting into the subject of cheating I invite the computer players to download Gibbed's save game editor and start yourself off with full paragon and renegade points, I don't care if you want to give yourselves 500,000 of each mineral so you don't have to bother with scanning. Act the way you would act without the shackles of a flawed alignment system. You will find the game much more enjoyable.

I'm not sure you're ever really prevented from acting how you want. You're prevented from getting certain results from persuade/intimidate options but if you want to tell the Council where to stick their "support" you can do so without needing any renegade points.

As for the various armies, I'd expect their support to show up in ME3 in much the same way that the various allied armies showed up for the final confrontation in Dragon Age. Having them around will make things easier. I really doubt it will change the story all that much.

You have ONE Geth, who may or may not be simply spying on you, one Krogan tribe out of thousands who would rather kill each other than work together, a vague expression of intent to help from the Rachni queen, and some degree of sympathy from a few high ranking Quarians. Wouldn't exactly call that your personal army..

That's interesting, my canon Shepard is in the exact same position. I imagine the Alliance military will probably be the default army that every Shep gets, I'm betting that if you let the original council members die the army you lose is the Turian fleet.

I always play my main character with the decisions I would make, I don't care about getting renegade/paragon points, if I can't charm someone, it's no big deal. There are other solutions(though not as ideal, it's probably more realistic)

Though I thought it was a better system, when you had to put points in charm/intimidate instead of them being tied to your decisions.

Maybe in your game. My game went differently or maybe you have misinterpreted certain parts of the game so I will just speak for myself here.

I rewrote the programming in the Heretics and Legion has told me that my goals and the goals of the Geth are similar and that cooperation would be benefitial. I have Wrex Urdot's WHOLE 1000 CLAN ALLIANCE to support me because Wrex enjoys fighting by Shepard, and a promise from the Rachni Queen that by the end of it we will be staring into the darkness together... as for the Quarians, I fully expect them to stand by me because of all I have done for them and the fact that Shepard needs support to actually beat the Reapers who threaten ALL of the galaxy.

Nice troll attempt, but not good enough. Fail troll failed.

@dan; Lol, that's exactly what I thought about your delusional interpretations on a vastly differentiating gaming experience, whether yours were similar to mine the way you interpret possible allegiances leaves something to be desired.
