I've re-lit and re- exported this scene about ten times in the last 2 days.  For some reason I can't get the Shadow Maps to appear / disappear correctly. I changed the sun position to about 2 o clock and I still get these little patches.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Yeah, this is a fairly common problem with the lightmapper. You can use the Tesselation tool to increase the Tesselation level around that area, which usually reduces the size of the little black patches, but doesn't remove them entirely. At which point I usually chuck a boulder on it, or surround it with bushes/trees.

You can't put bushes/trees ON it, though, because they'll show up dark like that. But, use the Tesselation tool to reduce the size of the patch(es), then cover them up using whatever seems to make sense.

and here I was hoping that the bug had been solved. Oh well, I'll use my imagination. Thank you Bibdy.
