Anyonelse feel bad when you blew up the collector base?
I personally thought I was doing the right thing, until I saw that cutscene.

That poor collector guy shaking when the reaper tells him "you have failed". You can just see the fear in his eyes, what excellent animations bioware did for this game. The way bioware makes you truly believe you are fixing to annihilate an entire race makes your decision and that cutscene tough to swallow.

-Your decision just completely wiped out the collectors!

When a game can truly immerse you into it and make you feel that, its very good.

It's amazing how expressive they got with non-human faces. Both the Collector General at the end, and Legion, convey emotion, which is nothing short of surprising, considering their facial features are so non-human. Yet they somehow manage to convey emotional cues nonetheless... pretty interesting really. Non-verbal communication is an interesting field of study. I wonder if they asked for some professionals in that field for help of if the animators operated on instinct. Either way a very good job.

Umm, you do realize the alternative also kills all of them too, right? It's just in a way that doesn't outright destroy the base.
