I think we need to go bigger and grander in scale than backwater Fereldan. So, the best options for me would be to go to Orlais and the Tevinter Imperium. Most powerful country and the equivalent of the Roman Empire. Hell yeah.

In keeping with it's Baldur's Gate roots (and I'm a **** for BG roots lol) I'd say either Antiva, or better, Orlais, as they seem most similar to Amn, and if Val Royeaux has that much of an upgrade from Denerim as Athkatla was from BG herself .. ahh, can't wait till Awakening! *does a lil jig*

But what's left of the Tevinter Imperium seems like an anomoly, a mage empire built on the decadence of an elite caste of insanely powerful bloodmages, all of the sudden in shambles in a world that despises and fears them, and has a beloved and incredibly powerful order devoted to .. what else? Hunting and executing blood mages. And with the huge cultural rift between the mage-politicians and the impoverished peasants .. and where does the "Imperial Chantry" fit in? All the intrigue and magic and moral quandaries ...

Tevinter sounds like such a fun place for a legendary hero of Ferelden to find him/herself :) Or at the very least leading another Exalted Crusade against when those darned mages get at it again :D

The Tevinter Imperium, I want to be part of its Byzantine politics and hear their side of the story on all the things the rest of the world blames them for.

Orlais is second. Just because it's the biggest and grandest nation in the world today. Antiva is interesting, but I really think you could see most of what it there in less than one game. *shrugs*

Tevinter would be an intreasting option, given the rich lore it has in the history of Thedas

I'd like to visit Whiesaupt, or however its spelled, and fight with the grey wardens there. It sounds very exciting I'd love to battle with more grey wardens. And see how the people there are like and what's the environment like

I'd love to visit Nevarra as it is home to a nation of dragon hunters. I'd love to see how their clans and tribes live.

Rivain for me.

1) Humans and Elves living in peace.
2) Permanent Qunari Settlement
3) The two major religions are The Natural Order and the Qun (no Andrasdians, so no Chantry)
4) Duncan's mother was from Rivain

How would it be to explore a country that different from Ferelden?

Well when you put it THAT way...it does sound pretty freaking cool!!

Seheron!! I think Sten said something about that place smelling like incense and tea or something. I love me some tea and incense.

.__.; I hope I'm right on that.

I assume that if the Tevinter Imperium is to be fully explored the game will be set a thousand years before DAO and before Darkspawn even existed - that would be interesting. Kind of like exploring the Roman Empire and its struggle against external threats and internal tension - set among the old gods, mythical creatures, and a pure heaven.

Or the Orlesian Empire one or two ages before DAO - playing a character with an Orlesian perspective would be reminiscent of the perspective of explorers of Britain or France during an exciting age of colonization and enlightenment.

im not really concerned about where the next city would take place.

im concered about how lively the next city would be.

I mean, look at Denerim, it looks huge. BUT, it looks freaking DEAD comapred to lets say, Baldur's Gate, Athkatla, and Neverwinter. Denerim just looks like some area with random characters placed in it and does nothing.

Come on Bioware, make future locations look more lively and believable.

Hi, my first choice are the Korcari Wilds, cause the last Blight started here somewhere and somehow, and it would be of interest to search out their nest and to track them down. Perhaps here`s to find another Broodmother and even connections to the Deep Ways of the Dwarves, like i understood are to find all over Thedas. And then there are the Uncharted Territories ... , and what is beyond?

But I hope that we will be able to explore in further Addons the whole of Thedas, with every landscape and every corner and hidden cave and, and,.... Glorius times to come, Wardens!
Ferelden itself is just 1/10 of whole Thedas so we could imagine about ten Addons (ahem! gulp)?

I just wished this years ago for a Forgotten-Realms-Setting and i´d like to know if both areas are situated on the same planet. What if?  Questions on questions... what lies beyond The Tirashan? Pictures of travelling per ship are coming to mind, like we know from the Might & Magic-Series.

I´m very curious about what´s waiting outthere.....but till then, may Andraste lead your ways!
Agronwall.

My first choice really would be to stay in ferelden and see what happens based on what we did...if morragin gives birth to her strange child what happnes?  Baring that lets go back in time I'd love to see the beginings of the grey warderns, andrestes march on the tevinter imperium, or what ever it was that killed the elves and humans in the old ruin where we deal with the werewolves.  Seeing that in its glory would be amazing I expect and anything that lets us learn more about the elves before the humans would be great!

Baring any of that I would love to see the tevinter imperium.  Seeing the mages ruling as they should would be a nice change...

This one would be nice.

Aside from that, I'd probably go with the usual suspects: present-time Tevinter, Antiva or Orlais.

Definitely Orlais, and specifically Val Royeaux. It sounds like there'd be a lot more intrigue-style stuff going on as opposed to hack-n-slash (not that hack-n-slash is bad or anything). Plus I'm really curious to meet this Empress of theirs, and see the chevaliers.

Tevinter Imperium.

They started the Blights, hell, I would love to get their perspective on magic's current day use and the Blight. I wouldn't mind delving even deeper into the lore surrounding the First Blight and their current day reactions and opinions surrounding the decline of their empire.

This.

Tervinter Imperium is definately my first preference. If possibly, I am also eager to see a trip or story about the ancient elven ruin in Arlarhan forest. Maybe we can discover some lost lore or powerful elven magic in there.

Interesting. The poll results directly mirror my preferences. I would most like to travel to Tevinter, followed by Orlais, and Antiva!

The Tevinter Imperium offers the the player the most chance for discovery of arcane, historical and scientific knowledge, and seeing the Imperial Chantry would be a interesting juxtaposition after getting to know Ferelden. Plus, mages are awesome, and magic is awesome.

I want to learn more about the scientific and magical systems the world of Thedas is built upon. I want to find out exactly what the Fade is, how spirits relate to the living, what the Black City is, and what the Old Gods are, and how they relate to the darkspawn. I want to learn, without so much religious allegory and metaphor getting in the way. Removing the anti-magic bias by hearing the Imperial magisters side of the story would at least provide a different take on the history of the setting.

Then it wouldn't be the Dragon Age. Which would be stupid considering the title of the franchise.

I'd like to see the origins of Gray Wardenship and meet a whole lot of them in Anderfels. Tevinter would be really good too since a whole lot of lore revolves around it.

Many unanswered questions about it, so I'd have to say wherever Qunari come from.
