Nevarra, Tevinter, and Rivain in that order. Maybe we could also get a Kal Sharok Expansion for Origns, please?

1) Tevinter: This seems so central to the story; it would be fun to explore the history and magical nonsense.

2) Anderfels: There are a lot of blanks to fill in about Anderfels, I found myself wanting to learn more; it would be a nice contrast to Ferelden where the Grey Wardens are powerless. Also, Germans are awesome, being based @ Weisshaupt would be fun!

I think orlais would be the best one to continue the story of the fereldan warden, also has a lot of interesting areas such as the dales and that delicious looking urthemiel plateau (intersting since the archdemon in DAO was urthemiel, the dragon of beauty). Kal sharok seems to be in between orlais and tevinter so it could also be a place of interest, perhaps even a nice starting point coming out in kalsharok after pushing far enough through the deep roads. Also depending on the ending both leliana and morrigan head that way so it could be a place of interest for the male wardens ;D

Of course all the other lands are very interesting, tevinter with its bloodmages and the war with the qunari, antiva for zevran and the leather ;D, par vollen for the qunari colony and of course the anderfels for the warden HQ. Still I think orlais has the most connections to the story of DAO, despite the annoying accent it is my vote :wizard:

Nevarra is the prime choice for me. Even though only briefly mentioned in the fluff. Between the name and the burial practices, it seems like a possibly odd, yet interesting mix between the Medieval Iberian peninsula countries and the ancient Egypt.

Also, Dragon Hunters. Seems like a great concept, especially since they've now returned - in the Dragon Age. It would be very interesting to meet such a character, or better yet, have him as a party member in the future.

Khal Sharok second. Different from Orzammar, yet the only other large Dwarven refuge that survives.

Tevinter sounds interesting too. It could stem away from the more traditional Western-European Medieval setting in fantasy and go to South-Eastern Europe and take inspiration from the Balkans and the Eastern Roman Empire.

Tevinter - would like to play as a mage in that country to see what the differences in how they are treated would be.

i say despite the fact that orlais is french/****esque it would be the best bet. decently large with plenty of possible stories. also has lots of connections to other places so it can esily set up a 3rd/4th/5th game without a wild dissconnect

would love to see tevinter/orlais we got ALOT of lore about those 2 places in DAO and it has peaked my interest, also both countries border along many others making the transition to other lands relatively easier..

Tevinter
-lots of new arcane magics
-the war with the qunari
-so many great political quests (maybe GW make a truce with qunari to hunt darkspawn, or the magister lords etc.)

Orlais
- since they used to occupy ferelden, would tie in well
- ALOT of politics makes for alot of different story options
-the descriptions of the great culture would be a departure from the "rough around the edges" ferelden

now for DLC for DAO I would love to investigate further into the AWAR regions and lore of ferelden(something about large stone fortified cities at war, and thier ancient culture grabs my interest), and also the kucari wilds..(the wild tribes and maybe old forgotten temples/cities buried in the swamps)

It's a big toss up between Antiva and Tevinter Imperium. They both seem so rich and unique.

No question; the Tevinter Imperium. I would love to visit the cradel of all human power.

My Grey Warden mage would love it there. He would love also love the chance to restore Tevinter to it's former glory.

All to stop the Blight of course...

I voted for Tevinter because of the depth of history there; it seems like a good place to dig further into any number of aspects of the world. But I'd also be keen on the Anderfels, depending on how Grey Warden-centric the game is; after running around as the lone pair of remaining Grey Wardens in all of Ferelden, it would be very cool to see how they operate as a society. (Especially if we can port in our PCs from Dragon Age.)

Not so keen on Orlais, personally. I don't really know why, aside from the fact that the accents would drive me batty. (But I'd be perfectly happy to listen to a bunch more Zevrans. :-) )

I voted for Orlais. Political intrigue, bards, the home of the white divine and heart of the Chantry. Most interesting me me,however, is the Dales. I'm really, really interested in the former Elven homeland. What's left? What's the real story of how it fell? What secrets and treasures can be rescued from the past?

I grew tried of waiting to have my hopes realized. I am creating what I want to see here

That said, Estatis Horume does not cover Kal Sharok. I do want to understand want devilish compromises those dwarves had to make

I also want to see the Dales and what is left of the old elven homeland

Tevinter sounds interesting, somewhere where the geographical landscape has a little more variety would be epic too. (fails Lore check)

i just hope they give me a new character for the trip to minrathous, using the warden again would be utterly lame ala mask of the betrayer

Antiva for me. I know it's inspired in part by Venice, and that particular time period really interests me. I'd love to see DA's take on it. Plus, all the Anitvans we meet are very varied in their personalities and culture. A society that produces that amount of diversity would be pretty cool to hang around in.

I voted for Tevinter Imperium because, as already said, it is so central to the story. However, I'd rank Antiva, Orlais, and Rivain just as highly.

Just give us all of them, dagnabbit! :innocent:

I voted Tevinter Imperium. I'd like to see what it's like there. Antiva would be my second choice. Zeveran got me curious about Antiva. And then either Orlais or Par Vollen just to see what Sten's homeland is like.

For me, the remains of the Tevinter imperium. I want to visit Minrauthus, literally the capital of magic of all thedas (even Wynne acknowledges this..but I won't say when in the game she says that). My Blood mage (the one in my avatar) would be a happy camper there, that's for sure.

On a second and third place...would be Orlais or Anderfels..I want to visit the main gray warden base at least once...

EDIT: And as far as I know, there were only 4 blights until dragon age origins..so the fifth blight is in ferelden...it would be amazing that the seventh (and maybe final blight) took place in the heart of the tevinter imperium..An all scale darkspawn attack over Minraouthus!! it would be awesome. it gives me chills only thinking about it.

I would be happy with Orlais. It would be interesting to see Ferelden's neighbour.I suppose they would have a different less emotive perspective on the history, being the more powerful occupier.

I think an issue is how to present the villages and big cities. Technical limitations mean you can't have fully realised cities with thousands of people and endless content. I think you need to review the first game and figure out what is the most important factors in creating a sense of location.
