Tevinter Imperium seems really interesting. Lots of lore to be found there I am sure.
Dev Question: Which country would you most like to visit in future Dragon Age games?

Anderfels since it has the Grey Wardens headquarters. Sounds like it could have a Frankish warrior-monk, crusader kingdom feel to it.

orlais or tevinter imperium and anderfals coming in 3rd only because we got a glimpse of Weisshaupt Fortress already
reckon the general populace of orlais dislikes fereldans like loghain did for orlaisians? hmm

Antiva sounds cool from how Zevran describes it. but I want to know about Sten's people too.
It would also be interesting to see the city that Andraste died in. maybe they can all be in the next game?

Antiva would be a neat place, especially if you've done Ignacio's quests in Denerim - would be a natural segue to visiting Antiva and opening up a new line of "Crow" quests :-)
I can't pick just one place - would love to see Sten's home turf as well. Can you imagine a whole land of people just like him?
"Can I ask you a question?"
"No."

It's too difficult! I want to visit them all!
Anyway, in the end I had to go with Tevinter. Reasons? Well, first of all, Mages are my favorite class and the idea of making a Teviter Mage immediately click with me. Then, I want to see the fabled (and unconquered) Minrathous; I want to meddle in its byzantine politics; I want to know their version of what happened with the Magister Lords and the Golden City; I want to see, as Verlaine would say, the Empire at the end of the Decadence.

Same here, my mage would love to visit there. Can you imagine how epic the mage gear would be?

Orlais. Seems to be an interesting place with lots to offer.
Tevinter can be used in much later installments since they are the source of the blight. Anything to do with magic, it won't be easy.

I think Dragon Age 2 should have some kind of transportation system, like a train or a griffon or airship like the Final Fantasy games. that way you can cover large distances between the rest of Thedas in one game. Antiva and Tevinter sounds interesting, but to me they sounds like a city or a state. none of these should be the sole setting for a entire game. they should all be involved in some way
Thedas is just one continent, right? so there has to be more out there

Tevinter Imperium.
Seems to me the most fascinating location both from lore and for a possible sequel.
The importance of mages and of magic and the inspiration from Byzantium make it even more interesting than other possible settings in Thedas.
I would expect a more darker sequel also from a sequel based on Tevinter Imperium.
Antiva is by far my second best choice, Orlais is not that interesting honestly.

The anderfells for me, I'd love to visit the place where the wardens were founded. Especially weishaupt fortress (1000 grey wardens!?). Plus it's been totally devastated by two blights and left the veil permanantly open in places, also the people look to the wardens to rule as their royal family is weak, sounds good to me

Antiva, so that my rogue can become the king of the underworld (or at least go and visit the crows).

I would say the Tevinter Imperium. Plot-wise it is the ground zero for much of the events in DA:O (namely the Blight). To be able to explore the landscape and culture of this once glorious empire would be breath-taking. I mean, it could clarify the origins of the Blight, Blood magic, the Old Gods, and provide insight in the Imperium's constant struggle with the qunari.

Difficult one; Nevara, its dragonslayers, the baroque-style cemeteries and the almost for sure Spanish accent (please, not Andalucian, not Andalucian...) pushes hard but on the other hand; Tevinter is pretty much my other passion, a über-magical Byzantinian Empire and by extension, a Medieval Rome so...

I really just want to see it all. Visiting Orlasis, Tevernter Imperium for certain (it would be interesting to see the outcome of this one), Antiva. Basically everywhere...

Curse you BioWare for filling your original IP(s) with interesting places and forcing me to choose one!
I especially like the countries on the northern edge of the continent (Anderfels, Tevinter, Antiva, Rivain, Par Vollen and Seheron).
I voted for Rivain 'cause it's the most intriguing to me, lacking any clear real world analogue I can think of (or remember)... hmm, maybe Al-Andalus? But we already have Spain in Antiva...
Some help here? Devs? Anyone? (And it just hit me that Seheron could conceivably be the Asia Minor of Thedas, culturally speaking.)
However, Tevinter would probably be ideal because it neighbors almost every other country, making trips across borders in expansion packs a viable option to cover as much ground as possible.
...I'm not too happy with the wording, but it's past 5 a.m. here, I should've hit the bed ages ago. (

Antiva, please.
One thing missing from Dragon Age, one incredibly crucial thing that every medieval RPG needs, is a prolonged jaunt in the sewers. With Zevran's gritty and visceral descriptions of Antiva, I'm sure the sewers there are just perfect.
Bring us to this land of political intrigue, assassins, corruption, and commerce.

I would love to visit Sten's country. Zevran's home land Antiva or Orlia. Where Leliana came from.
Could I also have a Qunari Origin? I think it would be fun to play as one.

I just want to say, I voted Antiva, but I'd gladly go to any of those lands so long as I get to bring Zevran with. I'm sure Leliana fans feal the same with her. And Alistair could go to any of them in files where he lived, and never became king.
