I was most definitely disappointed when I read that with the new expansion, you cannot engage in romance with your party members (as you could in Dragon Age: Origins). I think building a relationship with your party members was one of the best features of the game...one of which made it unique from the rest of the games out there. In many ways, I think it gave your character more personality. It was almost as if you took in real life characteristics of yourself, and transferred them into your game character? I don't know. As for the sex part...I don't love it, nor do I hate it? I guess you could say I am neutral about that. I just really enjoyed being able to choose who I wanted to build a relationship with. I don't fully understand why they decided to take this feature of out the expansion. The reason they claim that romance is not available in the new expansion is because "The story is focused more on the mission at hand and the new threat to Ferelden" Correct me if I am wrong but for the most part, wasn't Dragon Age: Origins focused on saving Ferelden by defeating the Darkspawn and killing the Archdemon? All I am saying is that Ferelden being in danger really is nothing new to us players and I don’t believe that the romance aspect of the game ever took away from the main purpose/point of the game.
Thats the end of my QQ.
