I hate to customize male-shep... It's near to impossible to make something that looks half good, and if you fail (95% chance) you'll have to wach all the intro to try again...



However, for Fem-Shep it's a lot easier and we can actually make a very good job.



I'd like to know why the random male models are so dumb looking in this game.

That's why there's a back arrow to make changes....
That's why all the different catagories are listed to make certain changes. Click on one.
That's why you don't click "Confirm" until you know your done.

I went back three different times to make changes. And, I admit, I flubbed up on his nose.

Earthborn adept with assault rifle bonus (same as in ME1.)  I like the renegade scars on her but they ended up healed by the end of the game with 100% paragon and ~30% renegade.  Some of my favorites:

Hello everyone. Here is my Shepard:

Despite seeing many pics of customised femShepards, this is the first one that I like enough to openly admit it on the forum.  Very nice Seival!

This is the only femShep (Valerie) that I imported from ME1 to play on in ME2 (and hopefully ME3).  I wish I could have tinkered with her further cos her chin is on the sharp side and her face tends to look too blockish at certain lighting / camera angels.





She started as a Vanguard in ME1, then I played her as both Vanguard and Sentinel in ME2 (both on Insanity; Vanguard was madness until I read up on the ME2 Vanguard and start rocking).  I was hoping to finish the game as an Adept with her, but I got addicted to Insanity Vanguard's on-the-edge gameplay and couldn't stop replaying again and again.

I used to leave her in this dull-looking red-camo default N7 ...



.. then recently, I went tinkering with customised parts and colours, and settled on this silly little GOLD-COLOURED setup  , which I used in a replay, reloading from Horizon ...



While snapping around with Fraps, I got this shot of her that ended up displacing my previous wallpaper of 3 years ... ironically the previous wallpaper was that of a videogame girl whose face I tried to emulate (unsuccessfully) in ME1, and Valerie herself was the result!

Yeah, I had a hell of a time making another halfway decent looking male Shep. I ended up using the character editor later to replace one of them with the appearance of my previously successful Paragon-Shep (see: link in my sig, my previous post, or my avatar).

Yeah, that scene makes for good screenshots.

I have fraps on my comp but I can only take screenshots in BMP format. If I want to take in any other format I have to register, and pay for my fraps. And you can't upload BMP pictures in the album. How can I find a way around this?

Also I have noticed people's characters wearing gear, particulary head-gear, that I have never seen in the game (and no, it's not just the beret). Where do you find stuff like that?
