I just bought my Friday-only pass last night, and I hope it will be good. It will also be my first attending a video game convention of any kind. Lots of this year's games are to be showcased, and Nvidia will have a presentation of their newest graphics cards at 6:00PM!

Thought about it but when ever I go into Mass, it feels like I am in a foreign country. It’s very hard to understand the people and the way they set things up. I remember one of the few jobs I have ever had that does business in that state did Emergency Road Side Service. Eventually they were telling me they were in Wooster MA which I couldn’t find until the person’s brother came to the phone understanding the problem since most people don’t leave that state and understand the way they spell things and talk is like a closed in culture and had to tell me in their state Wooster is spelled Worcester.

Gah, I love gaming and political conventions but hold them into places where I can at least understand the locals.

If or when I am in the United Kingdom I don’t care what event is going on, if it’s an event near a large Welsh Community I am avoiding it lol That and the Boston Dialect are the hardest dialects in the English language to understand.

I am a native Bostonian myself, and I don't speak with an accent. In fact, you mostly encounter that accent only in South Boston or in the North End - most people here, from my experience, don't have much of an accent at all.

Thats what you guys think break down and tell them your in Wooster MA and then well you're getting upset trying to figure out why they can't find it, have someone who has went to college moved out come in and help you out. MA has an English Dialect that is very hard to understand like the Welsh in the United Kingdom.

Going over English Dialects they find India which uses English as an offical Lanuage as well has a more understandable dialect then the Welsh and MA Residents.  Trust me, go to Boot Camp or college far from New England you'll understand very quickly people will have a very hard time understanding you. I am from Chicago and again most Chicagians don't realize as well they have an accent until they leave the city. It's pretty common :)

Ge'it in tha cA yong guarl

Don't worry though try looking up the Welsh Dialect on youtube.

That's the only one I could find without a video making fun off the accent
