it seems that not even the sanctity of a gaming community is free for the dispicle and utterly disgusting Internet Scammers that are getting worse by the day.

I just recieved the following message from a user called "binkha"
the message is titled "can I trust you"
"Dear,

Greetings to you, my name is Binta, a lady from Sudan, I have a
legitimate deal that worth lots of funds but needed an overseas person
to claim and invest it with my plans.



Can you promise safety of my share of the funds, before given you

the details of the deal as we have not met each other before?

I will appreciate your timely response urgently with your direct contact information for easy communication.



If you accept this offer, I will appreciate your quick response

to my private email address ( angie_bedi@yahoo.com )

I have seen my fair share of internet scams and this a text book example.

If you recieve any message regarding non gaming content i suggest you treat it as a threat.

I got a friend request from a stranger here once. I think they were opperating a porn site. I say think because I never went to the attached link and they had sent the same invite to many people here. BioWare should be proud that we are seen as a valueable enough community to bother trying to scam.

P.S. You did notice that was internet Darwinism and not internet Dwarvenism, right?

The best thing to do in your case, is to contact the state attorney generals office or your local prosecuting attorney ,who will prolly refer you to the first. If they get enough complaints they will take action. Dont respond to those messages whatever you do, because like the ole saying goes , if its too good to be true........     OOps my bad misread the OP's post thought that was an e-mail not a PM

I just had FireFox get crashed attempting to add a comment to this thread, which was moved from a game General Subjects forum, probably ME.  There had already been a query posted in this place (mine), and I reported "Binta / Binkhal" to EA's "Report this Member" system.  At the same time, I notified Eurypterid (Moderator) of the transgressions, but so far, I have no reply. 

It doesn't appear from the Binkhal profile that anything has been done to block that account from sending more PMs.
