Sure. Not a fan of the system on the site, but for those that are having trouble, here's a project page.Valtonis wrote...
would it be possible for you to start a project for this and upload the files there?
megaupload always gives me trouble downloading there and it will prevent your work from disappearing with this thread, which i feel would be a shame

I sincerely doubt that it works for X360, since there are a lot of information in the Coalesced.ini that I cannot possibly imagine would work on the X360 (keybindings, for example).FlyinElk212 wrote...
This is really cool. Does this mod work for Xbox360 as well? I've got everything in place for modding mai Xbox; it'd be badass if this worked for it as well.
I don't even know what in of structure X360 is using and the Coalesced folder on the PC is clearly named "PC". I wouldn't get my hopes up for X360 mods of any kind.

Let's you create modular mods so you can load & unload things as you desire.

And bonus, you used megaupload. I'm a paying member to that site so it's nice when I get a chance to actually use it.

Did a small update, this is for 1.01, but I can't honestly see a difference between the 1.00 Coalesced and the 1.01 and from what I hear, the old Coalesced I made (in OP) doesn't have any compatability issues with 1.01. I could, of course, be wrong.Unicolour, Casual Appearances, Crouch on LeftAlt; No Sprint-extension:

If you don't want to use crouch, simply assign something else to LeftAlt and it'll automaticly override it, such as putting melee there, or w/e.
Edit: Also, I wanted to try to "clean up" the order in which colours appear, since it appears a bit random right now. When I looked it over, though, I realized what a monumental effort it'd be. I'll try to get around to it at a later date, but as of now, every time I stare at the block of text in Coalesced.ini I get vertigo.
Also, I'd like to add a plug for Insertnameioo's N7-B-Gone Texture Mod, which is just too awesome for words. Not only did I consider the N7 Armor nonsensical in ME2 (Shepard is not part of the Alliance Special Forces anymore and not in the alliance chain of command; why would he be in alliance uniform except for nostaliga? Why would he put a N7 sticker on armour he buys at a random store?) but it also interfered with non-black/white/red armor colour schemes.
This is really awesome stuff mate. And crouch button too!!
This goes directly to my sig.

Hey, I noticed you added crouch capability in your mod, which is awesome! Thanks for that! Was wondering what I'd need to edit if I wanted crouch to be bound to left ctrl instead of left alt?

How do I mod it so that the crouch button is NumpadZero instead? I can find it when I just open the .ini with wordpad, but then when I save it it makes the game crash on startup. And when I open that Coalesced.ini with the mod manager, I can't find the commands.
Opening the Coalesced.ini with the Coalesced Editor, do a search for "LeftAlt". There should only be two entries, one of them is a Bindings entry. Change that to whatever you want, just make sure that whatever you bind it to doesn't conflict with any of the other bindings in the Coalesced.ini or in your own settings in-game.
Edit: Also, for everything that is holy, don't ever save anything you've done to the coalesced with wordpad or notepad. Afaik, it mows your coalesced.ini over. It even does so if I use Notepad++ and then don't open it up in the Coalesced Editor and rebuild it.

Aye, I agree. I don't think we'll get it though, given the ME1/2 hostility towards mods with absolutely zero support from EA/Bioware. Had they known that we'd do things like this, they would've probably found a way to stop us.glacier1701 wrote...
What we need is a new forum for mods so that they can all be found in the one place and not scattered as they are by other topics.
Given Biowares massive support of mods for all it's other games, I think you are wrong.

Indeed. BW simply choose not to support modding with the ME-franchise. Doesn't mean they are "hostile" towards any PC fans still trying.Selvec_Darkon wrote...

Tis a pitty it can't be done for the 360 though.
Makes you wonder why Bioware hasn't done something similar, especially if a member of the public can do it in a couple of weeks.
I reckon you may have just screwed up some of Biowares future DLC content I wager.

no support or help whatsoever when it comes to ME1/ME2 modding. Thinking
back on ME1, I can think of exactly 1 mod.
A texture fix for Garrus' low-texture head. A bug that never was fixed by Bioware itself.
Don't missunderstand me. I didn't mean to imply that they were waging some kind of war on modding. It's more of a cold hostility. Like a glare from across the room with veiled hatred. Every request for aid, every time you ask for a screwdriver, or to borrow a box to store your stuff in, met with a "I wouldn't help you even if the life of my child depended on it".GreenSoda wrote...

Have to post here again. Really loving the casual outift freedom this is giving me. As someone else pointed out - considering how someone from outside BW found out how to do this why couldn't they have done it from the start themselves. I wonder if this 'data' gets sent to BioWare?
I'm pretty sure BioWare knows how to get this done themselves. Considering that three of the four outfits you can choose from after you get the Normandy are related to Cerberus, I'd say it was a conscious decision to keep the number of outfits to a minimum for Shepard.
It might seem like a small thing to us, but you have to consider that one of their QA test items was most likely seeing how each outfit rendered & behaved during every major scene that showed Shepard in a casual outfit.
Just to keep the numbers simple, say there were 25 major scenes they had to test with outfits. With four outfits, you run 100 tests. With 30 outfits, you have to run 750 tests...
Hopefully they'll be nice to us & officially add in more outfits as a free DLC download in the future.
