So, after killing the Rage Demon in the Soldiers Peak DLC there is a door that wont open, and I can't any way to get it to open, tried reloading the save before I killed the demon and tried it again, same thing, door is locked and there is nothing I can do.

I have exactly the same problem, no way to get around it. Just hope someone sooner or later will take note of this. Restarting from previous saves and changing behaviour does not solve the issue.

It appears to be triggered if you leve during the fight. I left, leveled and was able to return.

Same issue. I have reloaded multiple times and tried dragging out the fight. I level during the fight as well.

This quest bugs out if you kill the boss too quickly which in turn stops the undead mages that appear from playing out there sequence in the fight.Place all focus on the undead mages and kill the second wave before letting the boss go down,otherwise the sequence bugs out and the door wont open after the small speech sscene after the boss dies.

my girlfriend is having the same problem but she cant go back to redo the battle. Is there no way of getting the door open besides that?

"can't go back" means that there are somehow no saves/autosaves before the battle? I don't know of any other way to get the door open, other than to go back and redo the battle.

i actually didnt know this was a bug, and i DID focus on mages until they stopped coming.THEN killed the demon, and im stuck...i even went a played a few more hours, and still nothing is allowing me to progresds...why am i unable to find a fix for this, several YEARS fater the damn games been out?!?

ive tried fighting them agaoin in sveeral diffeent ways, and Levi talks to me, but i have yet to see anything besides thje lil mage horror things on the summoning circles....Did i read that therees supposed to be someone else summon from them, b4 killing rage demon? my guys are only like lvl 10ish, i cant be THAT too overpowered for them..Christ i havent done anby of the main line yet, i went to redcliffe>and stopped at saving connor, then got shale, and am now at soldiers peak...
