I understand hatred runs deep for both Isolde and Anora. Everyone would love to see them go at it in a Proving because the end result would be that one of them would be dead, preferrably both take a final fatal blow. Well, let's just say this tournament would be to the death. Anora had an affair with Eamon for whatever reason.  I'll give two battle scenarios and give your best arguement as to who would come out the victor.

1. Sword and board only, no armor, no sustained effects, no healing etc

2. No weapons, straight up cat fight!

In the first: I'm going to give this to Anora. Isolde may have the guts to off her only son given the chance, but Anora doesn't need to be backed into a corner to make the hard choices. Anora throws Isolde off with an apology or perhaps a snide comment, and takes the moment of shock to run Isolde through.



In the second: I don't know, I only hope that Anora's dress takes damage and Isolde's doesn't.

Anora is said to have some ability in fighting (Loghain talks about this if you keep him alive and talk about her with him), so I'd say hands down Anora.

Hmm when you put it like that Isolde might be able to run faster than Anora and it could be a draw.

I'd assume a duel like this would take place in an enclosed arena. Besides, outright fleeing could be construed as a forfeit, making it her loss.

Well...Anora would win. She's tricky, smart and unreliable. Isolde is an expert in creating problems...for herself.

Isolde would be dead before she was able to yell TEAGHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

Anora knows how to use weapons and armor. Isolde does not. Anora is her father's daughter. Isolde is an Orlesian noble woman, which means she's probably not used to getting her hands dirty.

Anora faints dead away.

My vote goes to....Isolde! Her voice is enough to demoralise any opponent, and she's comes out fighting tooth-and-nail even in the midst of death. Anora on the other hand, well, her father dies and she faints.

Anora is definetely stronger, so she would win in both rounds. In reality, however... *exchanges short whispers with Morrigan* In reality they would be fighting in an arena from which they couldn't escape, so the winner would be STORM OF THE CENTURY!!!

I'd bet my money on Anora, but secretly root for Isolde. She'll probably manage to kill herself later on after the fight anyway with her lack of foresight.

However given that's not an option my money's on Anora Isolde would just stand there ordering Anora to stand down while being bludgeoned to death by Anora's shield (no need to waste a perfectly good sword) or fists
