I'm having great difficulty trying to complete this mission.  I'm on 'Casual' setting whish is 'supposed' to be the easiest.  Having died three times to the Mech prior to the Warden's room I have reached the Wardens room & ... it's impossible.

I stocked up with Ammo prior to entering the Warden's Room, yet I now find I have none.  I have my team under cover, yet they keep dying, I am out of Medi-Gel.

I took the advice of a Walkthrough & am taking one Generator at a time, but I simply cannot take down all the guards.

I am getting totally, & utterly, frustrated with this.

Are there any 'cheats' I can use to help me get past this?  I have been doing this for 16 hours & seriously at the end of my tether.

If you can't beat that fight on Casual, you probably should just quit playing... one of the easiest fights in the game.

Are you making full use of cover? Squad powers? Sometimes, if you hide and just worry about shooting out the towers from cover, your squad will take out most of the weaker enemies fairly quickly.

What class are you? Using your specialities help a lot depending on what class you are. Also what heavy weapon do you have equiped? It shouldnt be to hard a fight but there must be a underlining issue why your struggling.

Try using the cover more when its using the machine gun. when it stop use that opportunity to use your squad powers and fire your weapons

I woud suggest finishing an entire play through before cheating. Once you start cheating it will be hard to "not" cheat through the rest of the game.

That said, google coalesed.ini editor, theres a really good one out there.

Maybe your being too aggressive.

Just hang back and take your time (I know thats hard when you're pissed off about having to play a boss for the umpteenth time).

What class are you? And what team are you rolling with?

Take out the guys in the center first, then head left over the catwalk. There's good cover there, if you're a Soldier you can pop Adrenaline Rush and take out the generators pretty quick (and make sure you're shooting the right spot, the box that pops up is what you need to hit), that stops the guards from spawning. They'll just keep coming unless you take the shield down. As for the Warden, with careful aiming you can shoot him through cover because of his bulky turian armor.

Good luck, bro.

Take out the generators as quickly as possible, then concentrate a mix of Overload, Incinerate (if you took Mordin), Concussive shot and heavy weapon fire on the warden. As soon as he's dead, you get the cut scene.

I used this method on my [current] Insanity run, Before I got the last generator I only had to take out about one of the bloodpack commanders (along with about 4 other guys)

I found the best position was to take cover by the little pop up barrier JUST before the warden on the far left, placing you team staggered in cover on the other barriers on the left behind you to the right. I got to cover as soon as I could

Edit:  I was a Sentinal with Grunt and Morden

I'm an Adept (level 5), I had Miranda & Zaeed with me.

I used the Q & E to place them into cover & they kept breaking cover & standing in the open to soak up the bullets.

I used my Abilities as soon as they came off Cooldown.

I ensured, before entering the Warden's room, to fill up on ammo.  I ran out during the dight, totally 0/0 ammo.

I guess they should have made an additional 'easy'  Difficulty Setting - 'Wimp'

Edit:  I read a Walkthrough that stated destroying each Generator spawned a large Mob for each generator destroyed, & warned to take them out slowly.  Guess, from what you guys are saying, the walkthrough was wrong & the Generators need taking down fast.

Well, the faster the generators are down, the faster you can kill the Warden. You're trying to kill each and every enemy, which is extremely taxing on your (as an Adept) already limited ammo supply, which that walkthrough isn't taking into account. Remember, you don't get any experience points for individual enemies killed; ending them is literally just a waste of ammo.

Are Miranda/Zaeed/Jacob your only available squaddies? The game gets easier when you get Mordin, since you can't upgrade your weapons without the Professor.

As for teammates in general, Miranda is good all-around (Overload for shields, Warp for armor/barrier, passive health and damage bonus for everyone). Zaeed is good against robots/shields, must have helped with the heavy mechs. Try equipping him with his sniper rifle, the AI gets a disproportionate amount of headshots and infinite ammo. Jacob's decent, but best against organic enemies (notably krogan/vorcha, since Incendiary Ammo stops them from regenerating).

I tend to take out the one nearest the entry point first, then the one furthest away near where the blue sun peeps all come in from the far end of the room. Then go to the left of where came in and take that one out over there. Starting off with putting my 2 squadmates behind that first stack of boxes, then when move to take out the third generator I normally either position them on the walkway or behind some of the other 'cover points' that rise up from the ground down that left side walkway.

IIRC and someone can correct me if am wrong, but I've read somewhere that generally if you can take out that 2nd generator I mentioned fairly early that stops all the blue suns coming in?

Edit: What heavy weapon are you using?

If you got the missile launcher (or even better the blackstorm), once the shield is down just pummel Kuril with the heavy weapon. Soon as he is dead it puts you into the cut-scene even if some blue sun are still alive.

Taking down the generators slowly is preferred for me. Each generator spawns enemies, and if you are not careful with how you take them down, you can get outflanked very quickly.

Use Warp on enemies affected by your Singularity (or other biotics). It will detonate your biotic effect, which causes damage and an area blast that knocks enemies off their feet, and this combo can kill entire groups of enemies by itself.

If enemies have shields, use Miranda's Overload to wipe them out (even at level 1, should do that in one shot on Casual). And, remember, you don't have to step out of cover to use your allies abilities.

Move forward very slowly. It will be more taxing on your ammo, but, as an Adept, especially early-game, I was using Singularity/Warp as my primary killers anyway. Watch where the enemies come from. Occasionally, one enemy will split from the others and try to outflank you. Use your allies abilities to kill it before it can get around your cover.

Don't forget to use the Power Wheel to pause!

Sheesh there is your problem right there. I don't like taking miranda or zaeed with me personally. The fight is pretty easy if you use some common sense. First take out the generators, don't charge in (going back to that common sense thing), let your teammates worry about most of the guards, put them in a position so they can give you covering fire. After you take out the generators:

1. Take out big ass gun
2. Aim at Warden
3. ???
4. PROFIT!

If your squad mates keep standing out in the open, try setting them at points farther from where the action is behind cover. Usually works for me, but if they get jumped their new found reluctance to leave assigned positions will get them killed.

Also, when I first started playing I kept trying to pick off things at a distance when I had to use my pistols. One of the game play video specials I saw before release mentioned that the system was designed for you to not stand back and shoot at things at a long distance (unless sniping). You are less accurate and I would assume you do less damage too since you aren't getting them as well as you think you are.

Yeah, as soon as you kill the Warden = fight is over, irregardless of how many guards are alive. So what you should do is take out the Generator in the middle, then go to the left side, take out that generator, and from where you are at, try and take out the 3rd one on the far right. If done right, then you can remain in cover and focus on the Warden, and the guards should be focused on your squadmates.
