I'm seriously overthinking this...but help me out here...

How many assignable squadpoints does each squadmember get?

Jacob and Miranda: 31

Everyone else: 30

So it isnt 29 because the first point is technically already assigned? SEE!? IM OVERTHINKING THIS!!!

Technically, yes. 29 is the amount of ASSIGNED points. Shepard's remains at 51 since you can technically respec after Horizon, thus removing any point you may have had in a bonus power, if I am not mistaken.

In that case, it's probably 28 that YOU can assign since the game forces you to have one point in your squad mates' loyalty power.
Or were you calling the loyalty power point the "first" point?  Now I'm confused.

Lol, yeah I guess it would be 28 then...each squad member comes with 1 point already assigned, and their loyalty also gets 1 point as well.
