My Morrigan knows heals. At least enough to keep the characters alive enough to drink potions.
I'm in the Mage Circle now, though, and I hope I get to keep Wynn. She has amazing heals.

Her personality will maybe suit better when I make my own avatars of a more morally dubious disposition for different playthroughs.
With all that said, I don't know her full story yet, maybe its not as clichéd as it first appears, wont hold my breath though.

I like her comments though, she and Alistair have some interesting conversations.

she doesnt really have much healing capabilities and doesnt do much damage though i did auto level up with her but i did with everyone else aswell
That's your problem there, your autoleveling her.
Morrigan is one of the, if not the premier magic caster as far as damage goes when leveled right.
I just wish Bioware would've given us a Tome of repurpose or something.
Damned pre-leveling is horrid.

My BIG problem w/ her is her starting spells, they were all so spread out, and all focused on single enemies, that I couldn't help but feel she had allot of wasted talent right off the bat (even more so considering shes a shape-shifter.) But I'll be able to make her a spirit healer soon, so I have a more interesting character then Wynne providing that needed role.
She does have some of the BEST companion banter though, and for some reason, I really love the fact she has her own far off tent at the campsite, nice touch bioware!

Pretty much almost all your party members have horrible auto-level options; even Wynne. Just make sure that you get all your core members at an early level and you should be able to avoid these problems. Bioware really needs to implement some sort of skill reset process in the game.

In rare cases where Morrigan dies quickly, I notice the fights can take a lot longer to complete, and sometimes even result in party wipe. Morrigan is the driving force behind nearly every battle for me, but that's likely just me playstyle.
PS - Morrigan's Blizzard and Shale's Earthen Grasp + Rock Barrage are an excellent combo. I'd imagine Earthquake would play well with Blizzard as well. I love the AOE spells in this game but it's hard to get them off without injuring your party members, that realism is cool, but it makes using the powers that much more difficult. Good thing I like challenges!

A thread with (spoilers) in its title in a forum with (NO SPOILERS ALLOWED) in its title. *boggles*
My thoughts exactly when I saw the topic.
Then again, the mods don't seem to care or enforce the rules because it happens all the time.

Considering the average rank of enemies when you first get Morrigan, her spell selection, while not what I would have done, isn't totally abysmal. She's fairly effective, even if she ends up in a one on one situation. The biggest problem I can see, especially if using autolevel, is spell selection after she's in the party. Decide what role/roles you want her to fill, and skill her accordingly. Even with just the one heal in the Creation School, and she can effectively keep the tanker alive.
Overall, in my first runthrough, I was more disappointed with Wynne, but I waited to do the mage tower until just before Orzammar, and the autoleveling job done by the game to catch her up was terrible.

I think it difficult to have Morrigan together with other companions if you wan´t to be on her good side.

have her, sten, and alistair. if you have a good persuasion, sten and alistair can usually be convinced to not hate you when you do things. or they wont care too much.

No, I don't think that Morrigan is the best character, at first I liked her but the more I have her with me and the less I can stand her.
Yeah, that's what happened to me, too.
And out of curiosity, what is it about her that some find to be so shmexy? Is it just the shirt? Because I find her to be, er, somewhat boyish in both face and figure. *Runs*

I can answer this in two words: Claudia Black.
There are, of course the memorable moments, such as when she finds out she's joining you. "Such a shame...What???" Even typing it out makes me see the cutscene, and laugh.
