I INTENTIONALLY killed him in my cannon Shepard just to make sure he won't be in ME3 for me.Keltoris wrote...
Jacob? No, not Jacob.
But I don't see the neccessity to eliminate him as a choice for people who actually want him.

Someone needs to stand around pretending to do things in the armory. Shep also needs a bro to get very drunk with after the suicide mission anyways. I don't see Garrus as the binge-drinking type, and I bet Mordin is a mean drunk.

If only we could go do that. I'd so get drunk with them.

I believe you got a certain Krogan who should really be running around blowing things up with Shep in a magical murder tour across the galaxy rather than sitting in a chair on tuchanka for ME3.

It would be great to have Wrex back, but I think his role in Tuchanka is more important. Honestly, I'd prefer to have him in my squad before, for example, Liara. But I listed the ones that made most sense for me.

Exactly! We can't have him die to make the stereotype "the black guy dies first" come true!

I agree with this post.
But then, Jacob was one of my favorite characters.

I thought that was his whole appeal. The fact that he's actually level-headed and down to earth.

kinda.
Thane is given a new perspective because he is dying. He is level headed, but the whole "I'm dying" thing kinda puts a damper on it. Besides, he is a little bit distant with the memory seizures, and the way he is so...formal when he talks. Jacob is supposed to seem more...comfortable.
