I have spent my morning trying to find an answer why my DLC wont download. I have gone through the bioware and steam forum to find someone with my specific problem but have failed.
Basically all my DLC content is listed under the Download Progress Tab but the download refuses to start. There is a big red pulsating exclamation mark on the tab, but no explanation what it means. I am assumming its to do with the version number of the game and the red 1.0 on the DLC.
I have tried various restarts as administrator and cleared download cache in configure. I have enabled the DAUpdater in services.msc. I have logged on and off in the game, I dont have a virus checker and DAO is enabled in my firewall. I have 64bit vista with sp2.
Please if someone has had this same problem and discovered a difinitive answer please help me!

Try navigating to users/yourname/documents/bioware/dragon age
and deleteing the contents of the addins folder and offers folder.
Then delete addins, offers, and manifest .xml under settings. ( might want to back those 3 up just in case ) and then clear the download cache in the config. then load up and try again
