Talking Post ME1 when Normandy goes kaboom, and you end up being spaced.  Uhhh.. I can't recall any indication that Shepard had a memorial or a proper funeral. Any of the other crew? Pressly? Adams?

Or is the Alliance really that cold and swept everything under the rug? If that's the caes, I think I'm really starting to dislike the Alliance...

I often heard over the extranet news bullitens that there was a Shepard Memorial on Mindoir and it was a very popular place for...erm...weddings.

Then it refrenced my Shepard's upbringing [colonist] so other origins I couldn't tell ya.

The news will mention a memorial placed on planet where you psych profile took place.

Ware Hero; Shepard Memorial Plaza on Elysium.

Sole Survivor: A memorial on Akuze, that will be open once they can make it safe.

Ruthless: People try to extinguish the "Shepard Flame" on Torfan.

I particularly liked the Torfan one.  Makes sense because Shep turned the battle into a bloodbath if you chose that profile.

If you chose war hero, the memorial on Elysium becomes a popular wedding destination.

Well about that memorial... It would be kind of embarrassing to show up as alive after people built a statue of you and everything :)

Ruthless Shepard has a Memorial Flame on Torfan, which some protester scum tries to extinguish on a daily basis.

You have to remember, going by the war hero background, Shepard is probably once of the single most famous humans in the entire Alliance, before even the whole specter thing. Dude held off an entire enemy force single handed...while on vacation.

Admiral Hackett lost some major points with me for not wanting to arrest the filthy urchins trying to extinguish Shep's flame.

I'd have ejected them into space for that. Ingrates. Oh well Hackett's still awesome.

Every background gets a Memorial. So I expect Shepard got a funeral. I wonder who attended.

Ever read David Weber's Honor Harrington series?

*******Spoilers if you intend to read it****************

She's declared dead after a faked execution by her kingdom's enemies and the planet of Greyson erects a GIGANTIC statue of her right in front of the parliament building.  She blushes every single time she has to walk by it when she returns.   Weber has her beginning to avoid the entrance later on.

Which reminds me... I have yet to try making an Honor Harrington Shepard.

Shepoards death was held from the genral public for about six months, until it was revealed.

Elysium seems like a resort locale to me. I think War Hero Shep held off an entire platoon, so by Earth standards that would be around 20-50 soldiers.

Whenever I think of War Hero Shepard, I think of Korben Dallas fighting the Mangalores on the Fhloston Paradise space liner.

Wonder who went to Shepard's funeral.... where it was held?

Yeah Torfan is some kind of war memorial but not popular for weddings and it seems that protesters are trying to deface it because of Shepard's "war crimes."

No, Batarians don't live there anymore. Me and my comrades made sure of that in 2178. It's human pacifist hippie alien-loving scum.

Not only that, but they renamed an entire class of starships in her name. One of the SD(P)s was also called the GSN Honor Harrington wasn't it?

Poor woman had it pretty bad XD

Wow I gotta look into this Honor series..... :)

I think all the high up brass attended, and whatever was left of the crew?

Somehow, I can imagine Joker being pretty damn upset at Shep's funeral?
