No, Batarians don't live there anymore. Me and my comrades made sure of that in 2178. It's human pacifist hippie alien-loving scum.

I always thought it was the family members of the service men and women who died at Torfan that protested the Shepard memorial there.

Ruthless was always my favorite.

"Those bastards were dug in deep in fortified bunker, I sent a lot of good men to their death. That's the way it had to be."

Any anti-war protester defines him(her)self as pacifist, no matter what their initial ground is. The rest (hippie, alien-loving, scum) is just my warmongering opinion, Because, you know, THIS IS SPARTA!!!

A short piece of fanfic - *my* Shepard's background - elaborates on the Torfan story.

Also War Hero and Sole Survivor - could have been just a reporters' make-up. In case of the Sole Survivor we know it's simply bullsh*t. Corporal Toombs survived too and had the worst of it.

Ruthless is not exectly a story you want to be in you bio. However, mental instability of Major Kyle manifesting itself in a guilt complex gives ground to some speculation about what was the actual Shepard's part of the fault. Although Shepard never brings it up, and an ideal War Hero Andeson never reprimands him for getting the job done.

Oh yeah.... young shep was on shore leave when elysium happened... damn, talk about a vacation wrecker

Uhhh... just how many enemies did Shep hold off again? I know he/she was aided by the colonists

so elysium isn't big? no military there?

I'm pretty sure it's stated that Shep held off a Platoon, which as someone else mentioned is around 50ish people by modern military groupings.

Based on the description Elysium is pretty big place, however the attack was a complete suprise, so there was no major Alliance troop presence on the ground, there were a few other Marines there, and the Civilians did help with repeling them, however when the enemy platoon was able to breach the defenses of the Colony it was Shepard who single-handedly held them back.

The Sole Surviour is not "bull****" just because Toombs survived. Shepard was the only known survivor of the Akuze attack until ME1 when Toombs was found.

That was a nice piece of fanfic. I always suspected Shepard went too far as well but it was brushed under the rug. Your story played out just as I imagined it though, with the protesters back home calling Shepard an "alien baby killer", that was a nice touch. I can see that happening.

My character is a spacer so I have always wondered what Hannah thinks of her daughter doing that.

Wow that's a great starting piece! So anyone can put their Shep's profile in a blog?

Are those medals in the blog what Shepard was actually awarded?

I believe Shepard brings this moniker up during the Jacob/Miranda 'interrogation' prior to meeting the Illusive Man for the first time.

I like having the Ruthless background for my Shepard.  Even though she plays it mostly Paragon now, I like it that she has a bad reputation that follows her throughout her career.

my shep is a colonist and ruthless to me the best combo for a renegrade

dosent believe that most people know how dangerous the galaxy is
dosent trust the alliance brass's idea of leaving colonist poorly protected
is wary of other spieces given his chilhood
hates batarians (shown on torfan and BDTS will kill them at all costs) and will not under any circumstances tollerate incompetance, failure or Political Correctness
blames the council and the alliance for not being more proactive with terminus systems

all in all i see my shepard as a disillused marshall type from an old western cross him you die
get between him and the bad guy you die,but as and end's justify the means type of guy he's willing to do deals with bad guys if it futhers his own goals (of corse there are limits he wont suffer a slaver to live)

personal motto "im here to put high volicity rounds through the heads of bad guys"

Well about that memorial... It would be kind of embarrassing to show up as alive after people built a statue of you and everything :)

Lol, so that's why so few people seem to be glad that Shepard is back=) Makes sence)

I wondered about this. What about your squadmates and crew? Did they even attend your funeral and say a few words? Why no comment on that? If they did attend, what did they say about you? And if they didn't and all just went their separate ways immediately without attending your funeral, what the heck?! We should throw Garrus, Tali and Joker off the ship. Those jerks.
