Seriously though if the world of gaming involved people like you, then we would still be playing Pong and Pac-Man. To think that BioWare can't possibly have the ability to learn from mistakes and rework a cool idea is insulting to human intelligence. Which I guess is on par with your intelligence but don't project your idiocy on others. Thanks!

And with that said - I hope you like SHARKS!

Pretty rich of someone who missed the entire point of that post so wildly to be commenting on human intelligence.  What do you do in your spare time? Swing from trees and fling poo on those who don't gush over your little tank?

Let me dumb this down a little for you.

If a person likes exploring planets, they will enjoy mako/hammerhead/whatever shark hybrid Bioware comes up with. If you don't like exploring planets, this is laborious and pointless work. Hence my personal expression of disgust.

HOWEVER, I congratulated those who *do* like exploration and vehicle based combat on getting something that will improve their game experience. High time they got something that made what they love even more enjoyable and it is good to see bioware catering to all interests.

If you didn't have your head so far up the exhaust pipe of your vehicle, you might have recognized it as courtesy instead of a DISS.

Mm. I disagree.
At this point, I am expecting both.  I doubt one of the two alone would be that substantial.  Hopefully they are interrelated.  Like, Kasumi's loyalty quest involving a mission using the new vehicle or something.

It would be awesome if it turned out that the DLC they're teasing for turns out to to be an in-game-viewable National Geographic about sharks >_>

It shouldn't be that difficult.. or big a file download.. considering that all the voicework for Kasumi is already in a game.  They just need to give us her character model and flip a switch that activates her mission/assignment.

Is it strange of me to think of

www.youtube.com/watch

That when I saw the tweet?

God I feel old...

On topic, the Hammerhead is a DLC: it's not supposed to replace any of the game mechanics in anyway, just add unto it. And since many of the main quest, recruitment and loyalty missions don't have the Hammerhead those who don't want the Hammerhead can simply ignore it altogether.

True, that. Plus, there's plenty of planets out there that have descriptions that fit an explorable surface, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were already some parts of, or complete Hammerhead missions installed already. Still, all that considered, I sure hope it will be a substantial amount of gameplay with new environments that takes a couple of hours (something to soothe the pain of Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar and Zaeed) and integrates deeper into the game, maybe adding a few consequences etc.

Ah, I have many fond memories of that TMNT knockoff. BioWare; the only way the Hammerhead can truly be awesome, is if there's a picture of Jab on the side of it.

INTERESTING DEVELOPMENT:
Bioware just twittered this:
What is the headline for today's daily Cerberus news? Check it out on this great fan-made Cerberus Daily News site: http://zdbmn.xrt.me
I was like oh, okay, cool...those are sorta funny. I also went in thinking it might be an announcement for the DLC.

It was - largely - just another Cerberus Network story. Here it is:

"A Mantis spaceplane led the Earth Systems Alliance fleet on a high-speed chase tonight, originating in Mexico City. Sixteen-year-old Jorge Asensio reportedly stole the plane from a poorly secured mercenary landing pad, having learned how to fly from a flight simulator computer came and the ship’s onboard VI. Following major highways to his school, he buzzed the soccer field before the United North American States Air Force scrambled to deal with him. Climbing to the upper atmosphere, he outran pursuing planes, was then pursued by the Systems Alliance fighters in low Earth orbit, then ran out of fuel over Antarctica. After parachuting from the plane, he froze to death before authorities found his body. Charges of criminal negligence are now being filed with the Tiburón Rojo mercenary company."

I took a little Spanish in college and noticed the name of the mercenary gang. I know rojo/roja is red, but i wasn't sure what "tiburón" was.

Can anyone guess? It's Shark. They're called the Red Shark(s). Sooo...maybe we get the Hammerhead from a merc band in the Terminus Systems? Or is this a stretch?? Seems like a huge coincidence, given their earlier shark tweet of today. I would say we're pretty close, folks...  :wizard:

"Status

Chris Priestly is thinking about sharks. Reef. Nurse. Hammerhead?

Updated: 3 hour(s) ago"

Uh oh, I got somebodies panties in a twist. Get over yourself. All anyone has to do is read your original post to see that it is condescending to BioWare and the fans who are anxiously awaiting the Hammerhead DLC. Not to mention you seem to "think" you have the extent of the Hammerhead content completely figured out. Well I have news for you Little Miss... you don't have a clue as to what the Hammerhead DLC content actually involves. BioWare has publically stated that they know what went wrong with the Mako content and are planning to not make the same mistakes with that kind of concept again.

So to sum it up for you I will just use something you said. If you didn't have your head so far up your singularity hole then maybe you wouldn't get so upset when I prove that you are just being a condescending troll. For everyone's reference just look at her (and yes I can only assume that she is a she) original condescending statement. In case she tries to edit it I already have it quoted.

Nice troll and flame attempt but you failed. Try again.

I can think of another type of fish where the adjective "red" has a less promising meaning.

I'm guessing Tuesday, if there's anything to it. Friday seems a little unusual for a release.

But, hey, I'd take it.

Aww, they updated the twitter to link to a Cerberus news site. Pretty nice of them to do so, but it's not shark-related.... :(
