Can the game be completed using only attacking mode, by that I mean no attacking spells or AoE (protecting spells are ok to use) ? Even on easy mode would be acceptable.
Is this possible?

From any character or just the PC character?
I don't think it would really matter either way on any difficulty. Are you allowing for buffs?

Sounds really boring, but I'm sure it would be possible on easy. I would take Dog, Wynne, Shale, and a PC DW rogue. Or something like that; those are the companions that have the fewest abilities already, and rogues mostly rely on auto-attack via backstabs. Especially if Sustains are OK, you could probably even do it on normal, or even hard or nightmare with good tactics and potions.

You could probably solo nightmare with a dex based warrior using autoattack, but sounds kind of boring...

I don't see why not, I've beat the game on nightmare without a mage, and other people have soloed nightmare, I don't think 4 chars just auto attacking is much of a stretch past that. Just expect it to be boring and frustrating at points.
Edit: Oh, on easy, then yes for sure.

With a lot of buffs I would think so yes.
Berserk, Song of Courage, ect would be useful.
