So this might seem like a very strange and simple question. Did Zevran get his own daggers back?

Edit: Added a bit of a clarification: Familiar hilts. Does that help?

Yup, it did. Sorry, but as he was going on about one of the dagger's being Duncan's I fixated on it. I was like "OMG he has to get that back!"

I KNOW how you feel. I'd forgotten that Aedan had given him Duncan's dagger until I called his weapons to mind as I described them! So I conveniently arranged for him to get them back. Yup.

Edit: Temporarily - *sigh* - I'm not actually sure where his weapons are now, but I doubt they're in that plain little room with him!

For some reason, whenever I read dialogue for Zevran, I see a little of Captain Jack Harkness in his personality. Which leads me to strange dialogue/scenes in my head such as:


Zevran: So, I wake up to find myself waking up naked in front of a beautiful woman and yet feel strangely unsatisfied.
Cerin: Your reputation precedes you Zevran. Your skills as an assassin are well known to us and we needed to make certain you were not concealing any other weaponry
Zevran: Well, with service like that, I can certainly see the appeal of you organization. Tell me, are these searches administered regularly?
::Dialogue bewteen them::
Cerin: And now it's time for you to be off.
Zevran: Be off? You are letting me go? And we were only just getting to know one another.
Cerin: No. What I mean is you're no longer of any use to me and you're too dangerous to be left on your own.
::Cerin snaps her fingers and two large, burly men enter, short swords drawn::
Cerin: Make it quick, but not here. Take him back to the Aquaducts and dispose of him there.
::The two men make their way towards Zevran who appears to be standing there, his usual calm about him. Suddenly, there's a quick flash of steel as the two men drop their blades, clutching their throats as they bleed out before collapsing to the ground. Cerin looks on in shock::
Cerin: But you were unarmed. You were naked! Where were you hiding that dagger?
Zevran (His usual confident grin): Believe me, you really do not want to know.

Another action packed chapter (oh dear I sound like a uninspired film critic), and a (probably) deathly and beautiful assassin master.
It's official Sisi you're the best epic writer this side of the fanfiction ( you don't want to hear of the other side, it's the one were you can find crossover of Twilight and Buffy , gasthly stuff)

As for Bob-san idea it is quite good , but more with a styleto than a dagger, size sometimes does matter


EDIT : @ Kallian, it's ok picture a nice warm beach of fine fine sand, you are laying on a transat, the sound of the sea and the seaguls soothing you, everything is at peace, a man is walking towards you, his strong, glistening torso stripped bare, he is carrying cool, refreshing drinks for both of you, as he stood by your transat you realise it's Alistair.
Is this making the mentale picture better.

Not to start a conversation down this lane, but something akin to a Sgian Dubh might be a better fit as they tend to be a big shorter than a stilleto and lack the cross section.

Wow, just popped into my thread and found multiple blush attacks! Will have to go back and read all these comments, but first I want to post what I was working on this afternoon:

DalishRanger is always drawing Aedan for me, so here is my little 'thank you'. I don't have her talent, but hopefully she isn't absolutely horrified by what I did to Legam.

Sorry for your thread, blame the mess on Bob-san and myself, we've been discussing a *cough* technical point that greatly disturbed Kallian, so I tried to put something else on her mind. (hope she don't go to my thread, I've reached the grossest point with Alistait in there)
