Chapter Fourteen - A Tainted Plague

It would be difficult to sum up the story so far in two words, but I'll try: WOW! EPIC!

Seriously, the mind of a literary genius truly resides in your head, reading it in full from begginning to end filled me with no end of emotion. From delight at the Aedan/Leli romance and Alistair's moments, dark suspicion at Morrigan's presence and the child that we all know harbours an Old God's soul, fear and suspense at the presence of this dark force working beneath Denerim and threaten Aedan's friends and the vile nemesies that now strike at Aedan in Val Royeaux, and above all sympathy for Aedan's plight that is wearing him down and bringing him to his knees; he cannot do this alone, the poor man .

This proves to me that if I were to name the finest writer here in my point of view, and I apologise in advance to the many skilled writers here, but it could only be you! May your write on, good lady!

Yet another outstanding pair of chapters, and excellent work and planning put into them, but the latest one stirred my thoughts and my blood most; I knew almost immediately who it was. I'd recognise a scheming monster like that newcomer anywhere, especially considering I wrote her to be my most hated fanfic character creation. So, in a word: FANTASTIC!

Yet another bloody brilliant pair of chapters!

The battle sequence in the latest chapter was incredible, the detail was so vivid, picturing it in my mind was easy. You still inspire me to this day you know!

But Marjolaine's official appearance brought back haunting memories of that dreaded Orlesian, but if she dares bring Aedan or Leli to harm, I'm sending Aldanon after her! ;D

Maker's bloody breath! I may be a bit on the temper side today, but you made me want to strike down Marjolaine with everything I had! *resists the urge to curse her name....*

I sympathized with Leli for having to maintain the will and the courage to keep calm in the face of her enemy, , I hope your merciful side resurfaces, but in short: excellent as always.

The interview was most interesting! I have wondered for a time just how you draw your world of Thedas, and the level of depth impresses me so that I will want to consider such techniques if ever I want a successful career in fictional writing. The contributions you make here are delightful and I hope they continue to be... in fact I'm sure of it!

Okay after reading that interview, I admit I'm now intrigued. I haven't read your fics yet but I'm going to start NOW.

@Max - Thanks! Yes, I use a nerdly number of 'tools' to write my stories. I have multiple spreadsheets, timelines, character bios. I've developed them over time as I move further away from the events of the game. I have so many characters now that I need to keep them organised! And of course, I love my maps (combat and otherwise).

@Lydlyd - Thanks! I hope you enjoy them. There is a suggested reading order on my FF.net  page.

For those waiting for Alistair's next chapter, sorry.

A combination of emotional fallout (yes, we've all agreed in the past that I am nuts about my characters) and time constraints conspired to make his chapter progress... slowly. I hope to be back in form next week! As always, thanks for reading.
