Yeah, that is the problem with many kart racing spin off games.  The writers don't take them serioulsy and they end up feeling like side stories.  I think if David Gaider incorporated some of these ideas into a Kart racing game he could make it seem like a true part of the Dragon Age universe rather than some cheesy spin off.

Except that it would have been a cheesy spin off.

When has there ever been a serious mature kart game?

There never has been which is why it would make Dragon Age Kart seem like a fresh idea.

AntiChri5, it's not how it would be a serious game more so than how it could in comparison to Kart games of the past. Silly gameplay aspects aside, the story isn't all that far-fetched considering Dragon Age's nature. Kart Racing will always be a gimmicky spin-off. I don't recall anyone here saying it wasn't.
