Hi,

I am trying for two days now, but can't get my cutscene working, so I decided to ask for what I am doing wrong. Creating cutscenes is new to me, so I sticked to the cutscene tutorial from toolset wiki. Did all the steps, everything worked fine, in the toolset the cutscene plays perfect. But how do I get the cutscene to play in the game? Probably a stupid question... Only thing I was able to manage is playing the cutscene after adding -autologin=single player -runcutscene=test.cut to the daorigins.exe shortcut. But when I do so not my player character does show up,  but the dummy which I created in toolset does (mapping tag properly set to PLAYER).
I guess I'm just missing something here, maybe someone could help me out?

Thanks!

I would say, depends on when you want your cutscene to play.

I dont know all that is possible, but so far i know you can play a cutscene during dialogue and from script which can relate to anytime you want.

The dialogue cutscene is real easy too, you do "convert line to cutscene" at a dialogue line and you are thrown in the cutscene editor with some basic setup. And this cutscene plays then when the dialogue line is played.

Doesn't matter when it plays, it's not story related. Trying to make some Dragon Age music videos and would like to include some of my own ideas besides the vanilla cutscenes. So I just need my cutscenes to play including my character / party members to record it.

Found a video tutorial on youtube where you place a trigger that activates a script which should start the cutscene () but I wasn't able to get it to work til now.

I will try this one, thanks!
