No. Children may add to immersion, but not much. I'd rather the resources be spent on things that have a greater impact.

I read somewhere that with Elder Scrolls Oblivion they were worried people might mod children without clothes or make it so you can kill them. ;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

I think its so stupid they're just pixels I wouldn't have a problem using a Cain to blow them up. xD

You can do it in Fallout 3 (mod it for kid killing, that is, not clothing removal o_o) and as far as I know, no one really cares...

Having children running around isn't all that pertinent to the story, but I'd still be curious to see it. Makes the world feel more fleshed out.

That's exactly why BioWare doesn't want to include children at all in this game. Someone will hack it to kill them, and it can possibly make it illegal in some countries.

I'm much more interested in seeing them put the resources needed to create new models for the children into creating models for the missing genders of each race. I'm sure Elcor, Volus, and Hanar females aren't all that different from their male counterparts - but it seems rather odd that so far the Quarians and Humans are the ONLY two races to have both of their genders actually be shown in game.

No thanks I prefer adult women

.....Not sure if that was suppose to come out as wrong as it looks like. Or it could just be me.

I was just answering the thread's question!  I'm not interested in seeing children right now, but I appreciate the OP's offer.

I agree with the Geth, you might wanna reread the OP's question.  It is lacking any hint of pedophilia... Maybe this was a Freudian slip?

LOL... I love that response.  And seriously, I would like to watch you on XFire and see how Liara reacts to that.  ;)  Maybe she would send Asari Commando units after you... or flay you with her mind!  ... That was brilliant in how absolutely absurd and corny that sounded the first time I heard it.

I really don't care one way or the other.  I think it's possible to implement children without getting accusations of it being a "child murder simulator."  All Bioware has to do is stick the kids in some neutral area like the Citadel where it is impossible to kill them.  On the other hand, however, I don't really know why Mass Effect needs a bunch of random kid models standing around the Citadel.  If Bioware has the time and space to make extra models for the heck of it, I would rather them make female turians and salarians or some other new alien race altogether.  The amount of time it would take to make this is better spent on other stuff I think.
