Another smart move on Bioware's part to ******-off European customers .... Edmonton is in Mountain time-zone, so if they wanted to shift it why not go east instead of a time-zone further west??

To us*, Italians sound similar to ourselves but a lot faster. And moving the hands a lot:P.
The high volume talking and screaming, we share with them:D.
*On that sentence, by us I mean northeastern Spain. Those of use who also speak Catalan.

Yes.. It's typical and we are well known for our "high volume speaking".
When I travel out of Italy I understand immediately if there are some italians nearness because I can hear them from a long long distance...
and we have very similar language... when I went in Barcellona I had really no problem in talking with people.. I spoke italian and they spoke spanish and we had no problem in understanding each others...

I used to be able to speak Spanish before I came to Italy. I did project work in Costa Rica and Colombia, and spent 4 months in Mexico many years ago ... The Spainsh I learned was South American, much differernt accent, some differernt words, and spoken amuch slower than in Spain, particularly in Madrid!
When I first arrived in Italy, I knew no Italian so I would use Spanish nouns for things, and 70% of the time people here understand what I meant. For verbs it was not so easy...
Now that I have been in Italy for 12 years, my Spanish is gone!! If I spend more than 2 days in Spain, it slowly begins to return, but I do not have all the vocabulary I used to have... I have had conversations with taxi drivers in Madrid, the driver speaking Spanish, and me speaking Italian ...
Btw, I like Spain, particularly Valencia and the area along the coast....

That's latin languages for you! We conjugate everything, and of course every language does it its own way
And then here in Catalonia (where Barcelona is located) we speak two languages. You end up "assigning" a language to a person. People who come to visit are usually beffudled at how we can switch from one language to the other in the same conversation without noticing:P.

I work at a large European international agency, with people from all over Europe and beyond ... Most people here know at least 2 languages (working language is English....) So, I am very used to hearing people switch between 2 or 3 languages in one conversation! I have knowledge of 4 languages, in order of competance: English (first), Italian, Spanish, and French ...

Clocked your accent straight off, also that Skunk lad is from California ,,, and the other bloke is Canadian ... You have a good 'on-air' presence, I am impressed!
I used to do a live radio show on a campus/community radio station in Halifax for every week for 2.5 years ... I have an old air-check tape booting around, but not in digital, only cassette-tape ..

I'm well. Neck-ties, see after they're put to their "special" use, if you're the type that needs to wear neckties to work, you can wear one and then you'll have a pleasant reminder of the event all day at work - should help to make the day be more pleasant as there would be "other" thoughts to occupy your mind. And then, of course, you'll have something to look forward to... It's a type of torture, but delicious torture...
