God this day will never end. Can't wait til i'm home, in the mood to listen to some classic music after a long time
I think my head is permanently attached to my headset hehe
Can't do that here. But after that day, i need some heavy music input. Maybe "Ode to joy", that always gets me up. Or Metallica. Yet undecided
Ode to Joy vs Metallica - quite the dichotomy.

Does this mean you are required to have an internet connection in order to be able to play Awakenings? That will be problematic for players without regular internet connection
No. Awakening works just liek Origin. You would need to install and activate, but after that you do not need to be connected. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]

Looks like you will need internet to install (didn't realise you needed with Origins to, guess I never thought it was absolutely required, oh well)

Hi BV. Yeah, i have a rather odd taste in music, i know. But sometimes i just like my classic and sometimes my hard rockl. As long as i don't appear to my next Marylin Manson concert with a tuxedo and with my god old Guns N' Roses shirt to the next classic concert i'm fine i think...

Many game devs release patches before new content so both the original game and new stuff are compatible. Bethesda does this all the time with FO3, and Oblivion before that. Also Bioware did this NWN1, and Obsidian with NWN2.. Patches are always downloaded, how else can they be distributed?? Yes, the devs expect people to have at least temp internet connection to download patches. Beside you need internet connection to register games...

I don't know, it might make a challenge to traditional conventions in these areas, which isn't always a bad thing

With the classic concert, that might work. But with a tuxedo to a rock concert? Some of these guys are not that nice and understandable, you know? Even some of them i know

Never really needed the internet for any of those games (minus FO3, haven't played that yet), and yet got all the expansions for them. So nope, internet was not needed for them (didn't actually have a regular internet connect then, just dial-up, and it was to expensive to download things like patches that way), the expansions patched up the games themselves. So it is a bit of a surprise to me that DA requires it, guess things move on, makes owning DA difficult for some though

Then that's the area that most needs it's conventions shattered, once a look becomes set, it's a uniform

Nothing wrong with a varied music taste, I like music from allot of genres myself, I find it gives you allot of variety that can fit a number of different moods

Indeed, i like nearly every kind of msic, with the notable exception of
1. soulless pop where people are casted (tv show or producer alike)
2. computer made music. music is about instruments and voices, not about pushing buttons on your pc to mix noises to generate music.
Apart from that, i like everythiong, though i like some genres more than others
But i say have a nice day/good night too.

Not that strange. I mean, you have bands like Nightwish, Rhapsody or Yngwie Malmsteen that mix classical and metal in one way or another, they're not that different in structure.
Just passing by to say hi before going to bed. After a sunny and hot week today, all of a sudden... it's snowing. IT doesn't snow here every year, just once in three or four.
And I like it
Good night!
