Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't it said that Awakening has 5 new companions + a former one, which makes six in total?

Not if you look at this page, there are seven slots. That is either a mistake (which i doubt) or there will be something like a secret companion along the way

You're right.. there are peple who's already talking about this supposition

hehe never tried to have pizza delivered to work ....
Our mensa has good food, and is very cheap. The cost is partly subsidised by the European Space Agency... So, part of all your taxes help pay for my lunch!!

Just for your curiosity... Here's the review of Awakening by Game Informer

(...)

Mmm, sounds like "Tales of the Sword Coast" redux.

If that means that Dragon Age 2 is Baldur's Gate 2 I'm all for it :P.

Good morning /afternoon, guys. I see our topic at the moment is Awakenings. Appropriate since it's release is a week or so away.

@Lion: I hear ya about reviews. I try not to read reviews on anything - games, books, movies - because I have the same problem as you. They hate what I love! Oh, well - it would be a sweet job, tho.

Do you think many forum posters secretly what to be critics? hehehe

Should be "want to be critics." Wow - it's early - haven't finished coffee yet.  This doesn't bode well for a good day.

The only thing I can understand from the review is that some features of the game, due to lack of duration, would be more and best implemented in a longer game.. but I have to say you that if this is related to management of Vigil's Keep and political government of the reign I would be VERY VERY happy !!!

If you read my previous posts you will see I didn't like in the past these "politicial and management" moments into  games.. I really hated moments such as "Crossroad Keep building" in NWN2.. I am an adventurer, an errant knight.. not a politician, therefore the shorter these feature will be into Awakening, the happier I will be !! Posted Image

Agh! I've never liked the concept of "adventurer" at all. It feels unreal and dettached of the world. I suppose that's why I don't like d&d in any of their versions* and I've always played RuneQuest, Call of Cthulhu and other games on my table.

*On a computer game I don't care about the rules that much, since I'm not throwing the dice anyway. But I still prefer a more community-oriented story.

I don't care too much about reviews even if they often tie with my opinion.. for example when I read SoZ was a shame I saw they were right Posted Image

I've done a few reviews  "not paid" Unless a free game counts as paid? :o  but asked to do them regardless. I find reviewing a game is difficult. mainly if you do not like that game and need to find a diplomatic way to express this. Separating personal opinion from good reasons why the game sucks is not easy! At least not for me.

I rather just play and have fun!  hehe

This just reflects how I am in real life..
I never do projects.. I live day by day
I'm not a general..I am a soldier...
I don't wanna properties... I wanna travel...
I don't wanna planning.. I wanna actions
and so on....

Max, you cannot beat €20 and delivered right to you ....;)

Edit:
Also think what you could do with the extra €15 !!   Some chocolate for a pretty girl, perhaps??? ;)

I never buy over internet with my credit cards...
I use only PaySafe Cards, but they are not accepted everywhere.. Luckly Bioware accept them so I had no problem to bought DLCs..
So I would have to find a online-store where they deviler in Italy, accept PaySafeCards for payement ecc.ecc... too much work... It was better open my door go into commercial center in front of my house and order it...Posted Image

EDIT... My laziness is not "physical", but "mental"  Posted Image

Do you buy on a shop with your credit card? Because it's less safe than buying over internet. Just saying...

I use PayPal anyway.

This was one of the games I got free for review! Talk about a difficult review. I hated this expansion! On a brighter note. I did not have to waste my money on it!  lol

LOL !!! As far as I know, ESA does not subsidise the lovely Patrizia ....

For those who do not know:
Patrizia D'Addario is an Italian model and escort
who claims that she was paid by Italian Prime Minister Silvio
Berlusconi to attend parties at his residence.

To be fair. they did tell you what the game was about.  I think we just didn't believe them that it would be so lame. I think the best part was the end battle and it seemed to have potential from there, but it was so badly received that it fizzled. Plus, I understand Atari is having "issues."
