I barely remember them actually. I do remember this HUGE box with a TV and sterio combo my parents had. It had a player in it and they owned a few 8tracks. but by the time I got into music.. cassettes were popular.

Well, you didn't miss much.... Fortunately 8-tracks died a quick death ... cassettes were much better .. Although these are gone now as well ...
I never liked CD's, although quialty improved lots in the past 10 yeras ... and i truely hate mp3/4 and ipods.... this is the devils work ....

You remember vinyl. That means you can't be much younger than me :P

I remember Vinyl and I was born in 1983... Parents had a few records, we only just started this year to digitize them.

Try walking around with a vinyl record player! ;) I really love MP3's, they're small and you get lots of em on somewhere without any (well barely any it is a lossy compression afterall) quality loss! :) They also don't scratch or degrade over time which can't be said about many other music media.

No don't blame th ipod, he was a true friend of mine over the last year. *cuddles his ipod*

Vinyl's nice and i still have some at home, but being able to take your music with you anytime and anywhere is something i like that much i can hardly imagine how i was able to live without though i know i must have somehow obviously

well, i must admit the gender of my tech stuff depends on my mood. If my PcC breaks down and i start yelling at it (i'm a bit ashamed, but i really do), i normally use the male form. If it's working fine and pleasing me, i use female form. No idea why, do it unconsciously

Ah, so my guess was right. Based on your surname, i thought you might have an Irish family background.

So that means that your birthday is not that far way, being a gemini?
