I know, I know. But it's a sport quite unknown there. It's mostly played in Europe, north Africa, Middle East and Korea.

Well, no one plays it here ....   There is a hardball and softball diamond I see when I take the local train into Rome. There are part of some sports club for US ex-pats ... I have seen kids on the diamonds a few times ...

Like all of us, you know. On top of that, every single American movie with parents-children relationships show a child playing baseball or softball (while the father is too busy with his work to go to see his child play ).

It's curious but I find the two top sports in America and Europe (baseball and soccer) to be quite boring to watch. They're fun to play, but very slow as an observer. My favourite spors are basketball and handball.

I really like football (soocer) ..
Baseball is as much a mind-game as it is a physical activity. It is all about tactics, and out-thinking your opponents, so much goes on that you cannot see as 'action' in the usual sense. Then when something does happen, it is sooo fast ...

Come on, only if you want to be a pro . I played some basketball on high school and I'm not a physical freak of nature, believe me.

I used to like it, not so much for the past 25 years or so ... NHL expansion has diluted the player pool. Yes, there are more Europeans playing, but the quality of play has dropped, and it is all all for US consumption now ...

For me, it is women's vollyball ... Tall, fit girls ... Lovely ...

For woman's sport: swimming is the best. Skimpy clothes, trained and well-toned bodies (some of them a bit too muscular to me, but i just ignore them).



Oh, and of course, even better: the Lingerie Bowl. Til somewhat invent's a fully nude sport for females (hopefully that day is not so far away), the best of all
