You don't think..  no.. to scary to consider....  could they? If we are the puppets. then, do we even know when we're being manipulated by them? Could we be dancing around in our small pants in public and not even realize it?

:?:blink::D

"small pants"   love that from Alistair   lol

I thought people were looking at me funny, thought it was even more odd when the police picked me up and such said such things were only permitted on a nudist beach.  I have no idea what they were talking about

You too huh? How do you even fight this? I will just accept my fate being my own twin and know she has all the power. Or at least, the power that gets me into trouble. Since i am the good innocent one...

I must admit StealthMaster. I miss my twin when she is away. It is a balance thing. Good vs evil. Angel vs Devil? How did you do with yours away for those couple of days?

I said it before, the news from Awakening, regarding the old companions, are rather depressing, so you can continue, just in case

But as i said, two things are good news. IF old companions are mentioned in the epilogue, even if not all of them, that's a clear sign BW has not abandoned them and they will probably return somehow.

Many people who already played Awakening says it feels more like a lead-in. While this is bad for Awakening itself, this would be great news as more is expected to come, maybe even something way bigger, and the Warden and his friends are part of it.

And for sad songs, try this, always makes me cry a little. Not even a sad text, i know, but somehow always makes me sad

Did you really like the continuity of ME2?

I loved it. Every single small decision on ME1 appeared one way or another.

To cheat your LI or to wait for her looking at her picture for all game long, hoping she'll come back in next chapter? Why do I have to live the game in such a limited way?

Sometimes other people have their own motivations. They're not your slaves to do as you please and they shouldn't on the stories they tell (or I don't want them to).

Under a RPG point of view I wanna be able to live the game enjoying all the things that game may offer without any trouble .. And in order to have this there are only two ways: a direct continuation of ALL the elements of the story, romances included, or a full new story.
Maybe I am wrong but I believe that middle-solutions won't work very well for my tastes

Haven't they worked until now? No game offers the kind of continuation ME2 offer. Not even close. What kind of continuity did BG2 offer? No decision on BG1 carried over BG2, not even the way you advanced the characters (I didn't make Imoen a damn mage on BG1, you know). Throne of Bhaal was just a final chapter on BG2, not a full game, and only the most important decisions carried over, the rest didn't appear at all. You weren't able to visit your stronghold anymore, nor any location on BG2 for what is worth.
NWN expansions? No continuation at all. KotoR 2? Brand new characters so that they didn't have to cope with that, only gender and light/dark side carried over... through a conversation at the start of the game. Every other franchise on every other game developer either doesn't carry over or it's absolutely and completely linear.

So yes, I liked the continuity on ME2. It's the best we've ever had. That doesn't mean it's perfect or that it can't be improved, but given Bioware story I'll give them a chance.

@ Twiggles: loves your signature too

@ kenrae: i couldn't agree more, and if they learn from their experiences, DA 2 will be even better

@ Max: hmm, the way you write my name it more read like the german word for mustard than my real name, but you will be forgiven :P

@ Sir Samcelot. I've yet to watch a horror/suspense/thriller that has ever scared me. I wish one would!!!! I do not mean gross bloody slashers either. those are just stupid

well, the one that got me was "The Ring". I walked home alone that night, not one of my brightest ideas.

Seen it.. never even made me cringe.  I am so hard to scare when it comes to movies.  I think I jumped a tad bit during White Noise. I think it was more from sound effects.

The real one.
The American version was... meh. What is it with American remakes of foreign movies? They tend to be more... politically correct and soft. Why can't they just translate the original? :/

In terms of character continuity ToB was great, and you are teleported to different part of Faerun in it, explaining the lack of access to earlier areas (apart from Watcher's Keep, which is strangely accessible in both maps. And from what I understand you are in a different area of the galaxy unable to visit the ME1 areas as well in ME2, so not to much different there (I could be wrong though, I'm not play ME2 until it comes way down in price as everything I've heard about it sounds like allot of major RP elements in ME1 were taken out or streamlined)
