@Kenrae and Sam.. what they did with the romances in ME2 is just a little trick to break/put in hold the romances without making the carachter disappearing but finding a way to make not them squad member

If you find this a correct thing, if you find a right justification for this I am happy for you... Everyone has his own tastes.. for my point of view is just a screw-job something I won't accept such a continuity break.. I may agree with you that a specific character may have his own justifications for not following you... Not 3 out of 3 !! It's just impossible....

but you know, they wanted to have all three romances alive in Me 3, and ME 2 was supposed to be suicidde mission, so they either had to leave them out or give themplot armor. Given these two choices, i think the one they took is the better one.



It's impossible to make completely realistic games, you have to cut here and there, and though i agree it could have been better here and there, it was done pretty well. No romance runs away, the romance is alive and kicking and without worrying you can look forward to the continuance of ME 3.

I would murder just to being able to say the same thing about DAO and DA 2.

Now they doubled the problem.. Don't bring back Liara and you will see pissed off people... Don't bring back Tali or Miranda.. and you will see pissed off people...
What they will do?? Cameos for everyone. Yeah !! We know this thing works always well !!!

I have no doubt.. Cash's one is the saddest !! He sang it just before dying.. as his personal testament...

In terms of character continuity ToB was great, and you are teleported to different part of Faerun in it, explaining the lack of access to earlier areas (apart from Watcher's Keep, which is strangely accessible in both maps. And from what I understand you are in a different area of the galaxy unable to visit the ME1 areas as well in ME2, so not to much different there (I could be wrong though, I'm not play ME2 until it comes way down in price as everything I've heard about it sounds like allot of major RP elements in ME1 were taken out or streamlined)

I loved ToB, but the ammount of decisions that carried over to BG2 were just who you were romancing, who you were with at the end of BG2 and a couple of decision at the end of it if they made you change alignement. I don't remember anything else. ME2 carries over a lot more decisions than that and it's not even a final chapter so many things were not closed.

And I had enough of suicides, sacrifices and so on...
My characters love life..and they want to live their DAMN life after they finished their adventure
They can put into any game everytime any sacrifice/suicide they want...none of my character will ever sacrifice himself

yes i believe they will. Not all will be squadmates, and some of the vids with them might be pretty similar, but they will. I'm sure of it.

And you know, maybe that's the difference between a Morrigan lover and a Leliana lover. Yours stayed with you to the end, she even went to your party in a fancy dress. What was lacking was real closure to the romance, but as she stayed with you all along, of course you want her back in her party.

Mine run away never to be seen again, with an unknown purpose, unknown goal and unknown fate and destiny. I of course wouldn't argue against having her in the party again, but as long i'm having the chance to talk to her and give that emotional romance a well deserved good ending i'm more than happy with a cameo. Better than never to hear of her or revisit her through the eyes of a completely different cause new character.

And have fun finish ME 2, i keep my mouth shut now, sorry, throught you were already through.

It can't be 3 out of 3, one of them must be dead . Besides, for a given character, there's only one romance from ME1 so there's only one romance "put on hold".
Both Kaiden and Ash are Alliance soldiers who won't work for Cerberus. I don't see a problem with that., it's completely plausible. Liara's motivation is more of a stretch, that's true, but people can become obsessed just like that. Yeah, I don't like it. Neither I like it in real life. But it happens.

And yes, of course they're put on hold so that you choose what to do in ME2... and everything closes on ME3. I don't see a problem with that. Solo and Leia romance was put on hold on Empire Strikes Back too .

It will take a long time before I will finish it...
After Awakening I have to bring my male Shepard at the same point of fem Shep in order to continue in a parallel way the 2 playthroughs...

Well only at the end of Empire and it starts right back up again at the start of Return so it was never really paused as far the audience was concerned
