And, I play with mods an want to make sure these are compatible before installing 1.03/Awalening..
Besides, what is the rush?? Game isn't going to sprout legs and go anywhere...

Liso, there a 1.03 bug thread, check it out... Seems the crashing problem is random and varies from machine to machine, you were lucky other were not so, and had to re-install to roll-back to 1.02.. Also pickpocket is seriously borked, and since I am still playing rogues in Origins, this is a pain...

I play with mods too. they seemed to have carried over just fine. "shrugs" what was the rush? i am now asking that same question to myself lol

Is he saying
"Thank you for your feedback.... We'll take them in great consideration"
or
"Thank you for your feedback.. We'll take them in some consideration but after all we'll still do what we consider better for us and not for you"
?

Well, you have to take into consideration that the feedback you give is probably kind of dumb.MaxQuartiroli wrote...

I got the impression it was the second and not the first; especially when the argument of cost came into the picture. While this is always a valid and legitimate point in any business, I do gather from reading posts for many RPG games that players will put down their hard earned cash for games that are story & character-rich with outstanding voice acting. There will always be a price-break point, but really when you think about a game and it's replayability, paying $70 or more for a game that can be replayed 7 times (for the sake of easy math) comes out to $10 per playthrough. How much doe people spend on other hobbies or pleasurable activities? Thought of in this context, a "more expensive" game that is as rich as DA:O is actually a good deal. His last comments were not encouraging and I think Twiggles' comment was saying as much.

@Max: most probably something in between. What should he admit? You're right, we did it wrong, next time we do what you want. The moment a company openly gives in to the wishes of the community, they're screwed. All will cry "why them, not what we want?" and so on. Thats a nightmare and a battle they can never win.

I have just found one item that can only be used for Shale (or any other golem(, but Shale is not part of Awakening. Why then has this been added i wonder? Maybe they will be something after Awakening where you can use it? Or were they just to lazy to remember it's of no use without Shale?
find other things like that too. So it is also made no sense even more later. lol

as i said, the only way for that to make things is that furture dlc or xpacs will makeuse of the Awakening save and your inventory. As Melo said, we will understand why there is no such thing as an autosave later on when they announce the new dlc. My guess is to switch roles and play as one or two of your companions for a while, that would be neat. See what they are doing while you're in Amaranthine through their very oen eyes (as long as it's not Oghren again)

was just an idea, but i thought i could be fun that while the Warden get's lost after a few years somehow, you can check first hand what your friends are doing and sometime along the way they will start lookinf after you while around them all a new plot slowly evolves you will find yourself thrust into when the second part hit's the market and you take controil of the Warden again. Doubt that happen, but to me, sounds like hell of fun i would enjoy to play

Been playing awakening for a few hours now (decided to finish my evil mage in Dragon Age Origins and then decided to import her into Awakenings right away as well so I've not yet gotten very far in) and so far I'm enjoying it, not liking the new conversation system too much however and ... lets just say I'm having beef with how they advertised one companion and how its playing out in game...
In any case its late now and time for television! Should be more active on the thread again tomorrow!
*Gives everyone friendly hugs*
@Sam: Mind if I copy your "I support the Warden for DA2" banner in my own sig?

@ Lion: sorry for the late reply, all my banners are free, copy and use or alter them as you like. I made them to support that special case, and i have nothing at all against some extra publicity. If someone else want's to have it or asks you, feel free to share it.
