I liked Anders a lot. As I stated before, I thought he was more like Alistair except the "bad boy" version. Since I really adored Alistair, I liked Anders, too. If my HN character had to choose a romantic option between Howe & Anders, it would be a toss-up. I liked both characters that much and wanted to get to know both more.
Everyone else didn't really hit any spots for me. They were just,,,eh. Justice kept making me think of a paladin character where everything is black and white; good vs. evil. There was a moment when I thought he might be at least considering changing that view, but at the end, it didn't happen.

@ Max: you forgot Mhairi in your list of characters. I liked her alot, though i was a little bit disppointed in the end. Agreed on Oghren, he annoys even more so than before. Sigrun i liked, but recruited her last, couldn't even let her join because i could only start the final fight with Varel. Justice is interesting i think, recruited him early and i like him. Velanna, well, her personality as well as her boobbies convinced me to like her
@Vamp: yeah, cats can be really stubborn. If they want something, they get it, if i want to sleep or not, in the end, we both know who is going to lose
everyone who has finished: what did you decided in the final decision of Awakening (spoiler-free): i decided against it. You?

Also had trouble falling asleep - happens every time I end a game at night. Keep re-playing things in my head. There are moments when an active imagination is not a good thing.
Yes.. I have your same identical problem..
I believe I had begin to sleep more or less when it was 5:30 am...

No. I didn't forget her... I was just unable to write my opinion without spoilering.MoSa09 wrote...

Therefore I am waiting before talking about her...

Unbelievable. Everyone accepted. Fine Warden's you are, indeed.
I have a bunch of reasons not to. I can't be the only one who didn't, can it?

The very final decision? I cheated and did both. First for & second against. It didn't take long to play out both. After playing both, I'm not really sure which one benefits Ferelden more. And the epilogues...I don't know what to make of them. I really do wish that games were made so that we could play the same character more than just for one original and one expansion pack. You take so much time to create a character, not only in looks (which Bioware has taken to an all-new obsession level) but in mannerism, backstory, etc. Three is usually a good number, so I'd like to be able to play a character through 2 main quests and at least one expansion. Then I think I'd feel satisfied that I played my character thoroughly.

I believe in that moment I had the opportunity to take an epochal choice, who could also change forever the history.. Therefore I accepted it.

For the final, both are the same i guess, none of them is really good nor really bad.
Well, we will know there is more dlc, BW said to, and producer Fernando Melo said in an inerveiw as there is no autosave, we will understand when the new dlc is out. Whatever this means...

Do you know if there is any Marylin Manson's fan into Bioware Designer team?
This would explain some things... lol

Nathanial Howe and Anders were my two favorite companions
Nathanial Howe...., Dark, calm, brooding, deep, and honest. Just to name a few. He actually became very endearing to me. As I went further into the game, I found him to have great qualities. Not to mention that voice... "swoons over voice" His discoveries about his father enlightened him, rather than the typical denial I was expecting.
Anders.... Well. just reminded me of having Alistair back with me, with some interesting adjustments.
Justice.... I got him mid game and got to know him some "as much as this system allows" anyway. He is confused with the mortal world, he has nearly a one track mind, "justice". There are some heart warming moments with him and he is unusual at least.
Sigrun: She was very non descriptive for me. Vanilla character with stereo typical behavior slightly muted. Also, she felt child like some times.
Oghren: He was more of the same crap. Yet they some how made it even worse. He was also the only one you could prompt random comments from any time in the thrown room... "Lame" He annoyed me in DA:O, He annoyed me more in DAA. I did like Anders doing an impression of him though. that was awesome. lol I also want to know what made him so important to this story? I ran off with out him 90% of the game. Once my party was large enough, Oghren spent the rest of the time guarding that damn huge keg in the throne room
Velanna: Sorry, this chick was like dealing with a bi-polar off their meds with PMS... She was fickle, had behavior issues and a chaotic temper. IMO? She was a horrible replacement for Morrigan, and a fraction of the personality Morrigan offered. Here ya go guys... we'll toss you this under-developed bone.... I hated her.

@Max: it did feel like that didn't it? What would be best for Ferelden for generations to come? While thinking about it, Morrigan's ritual and the child popped into my head and I was thinking how would that also affect the decision I make? Did anyone else think that way for their specific character?

Yeah, if you trust that this will lead to something good and will not just make things even more worse. Well, that might be epochal too in a way

Look at my sig, of course it did
But i just didn't think accepting that offer would be in her best interest, neither in that of Ferelden.

Of course, how silly of me! (hits palm against forehead). Those different possibilities probably did influence my first decision, which I would classify as my decision, since it was the gut reaction I had on first playthrough.
