@vamp...maybe a $40 expansion foresee that you have to play it more than one time in order to discover anything.. if it wasn't so, and it needed just 1 playtrough to discover anything it would be more cheaper.. don't you think so?
You would think that given the price point, but I'm not sure I'm convinced.
You/we are not convinced to play again because, as I said before, we know it's a stand alone adventure... Therefore we know that whatever we missed, playing it again won't change anything for a future game, but only some small thing for the game itself
There are really 2 big choices and they are all at the end of the game.. Therefore if you want to change something you don't need to play again the adventure but just reload one of the last saved game and change your choices
In DA:O there were a lot of thing also in the first moments of the game which you could do/not do and which could change the ending of the game, and we knew that ending might be really different and that depending on how we ended the game a future game should react in different ways...now we miss this "curiosity"
