I agree. Which was also my argument with Oghren. Having to raise approval from zero!!! I had such a hard time raising him to the level I got him in the main game. He never got over 40-50 in DAA.. And worse yet!!!!!! Loghain was super cool with me! Even if he was haunting me.. sheesh

Hey...just a thought on my way into work and a quick post before going into a meeting re: Alistair, Zev & Leliana as GW:



It would have been great if when you arrived at the Keep, the seneschel stated that your companions arrived before you and were out recruiting, per your instructions. Those they found who were the most promising would be sent to the Keep. BTW, whoever was the love interest left this note for you and then you'd have a physical item that you could read & re-read. This explains why they aren't around, but it does give a bit of closure.

He never got over because his gifts are bugged !!! Here is also the reason because we can't complete his personal quest.. I finished with him at + 68... If the gift system worked well for him I would be able to bring him over + 75 and I could even complete his quest.

i cant get loghain i've tried everything and still he's a no show what am i doing wrong ? any ideas guys

Indeed. They made him more annoying, more drunk, and bugged with gifts.   yay!!!  "rolls eyes"  His personal quest was the only one I never got to do.

Oh guys!!! Anyone else manage to put the control rod in the golem? And WTH was the purpose? The golem ran down and just stood there. This was in the Dwarf Ruins.

For me.. it was pretty far into the game. He stands in the throne room at Vigil's Keep

Well, he is supposed to run down and kill the Darkspawn there. Did you take the main entrance (then all Darkspawn are already dead and he has nothing to do) or the secret entrance, in which he kills many of them?

For Oghren: i didn't get his quest either (not that i cared), but one gift you have to wait until he tells you he likes that. Before you get +1, afterwards as far as i remember + 14

Yes. you go talk to him.. you'll find out why he is there. and what he is up too

cool thanx liso was hoping i hadnt wasted a whole game playthrough of keeping that evil sod alive just to not find him in awakening after we were told he would make a cameo appearance

The problem of Oghren's gift is that they give all +6, instead of giving +10,+9,+8,+7,+6...

Due to this bug we lose 10 foreseen approval point from him.. The ones I am missing in order to complete his history

Also.. he is standing against one of the pillars in the throne room. Kind of easy to miss if not tabbing. Awakenings has bad me a tab nut.. I nearly walk around with the tab key pressed non stop   "sighs"

@liso i usually hold tab in anyway so its no odds to me i did in dao too as i still mist quite a few things :{

@ SD I tab a lot too. but in Awakenings. I found myself hardly ever leaving my finger off the tab key..

Wonder if my characters look exactly alike. hmm I can not tell any longer. I have seen them so much, I've lost perspective.

Oh!! I have another beef with the expansion.. the blackblade armor.. I found two peices.. Tunic and Helm in the Silverlite mines.. Where the heck is the rest? Give us some sweet uber leathers... and only two peices? WTH!!! Are they off with the ancient elven boots?
