The best armnor is the golem armor, you're almost invincible with this. Even overwhelming by the children does close to no damage with that piece of armor.

@Shedevil: well, i have to admit you succeeded on that angelic look :innocent:

what about the armor you get "new dragon armor"   the stats are so high. only Oghren could wear it. Besides. I have a rogue..  heavy armor is not a good option.. ALSO! I refuse to craft. so never got the golem armor 


also.. the armor you get in the dwarf ruins is sweet..   Justice ended up wearing that,,

@liso i usually hold tab in anyway so its no odds to me i did in dao too as i still mist quite a few things :{

SD.. I believe if you get +5 you are not giving the gift to the right companion... This time there aren't generici gifts as in Origins... Every single gift has its right character

wow i missed loads no golem armour and no armour from dwarf runes :{ might have to start a new game maybe play as an orlesian :{

i've tried giving them the things they mention but still all i get is +5 all the way through except for the cutscene gifts hmmmmm a bug in my game maybe ?

@ SD  there is a sweet set of armor in the dwarf ruins.. However, you have to pay very close attention how to get it. Plus, there is a puzzle for the final peice.

The other set.. I believe..  I got in the Black Marsh.

Are you talking about Hairol armor? I loved it ! My character was so beautiful wearing it.. And you know for me beauty is the most important thing.. Therefore it was my definitive armor

Oh, i forget another thing that'S annoying with Awakening: you can easily unlock many achievements that took some time in Orogins. Just make a new Warden Commander, make a mage, give him all elementary speels and unlock that achievement. Delete him, make a new one, this time a different spell class and unlock that achievement. Same can be done with rouges and warriors. Too easy, it's devaluating the ones who spent hours to get her characters on that level to get those achievements in Origins

damn i'm rubbish at puzzles my lad usually does them for me as i get annoyed and start kicking my pc ok will need lots of coffee and chocolate when i replay i think

it's really strange.... Try to check the Dragon Age Wikia page where there is the list of gifts for every single character... If you are really sure you are giving to a caracther his/her right gift and you still get only +5 then yes, you  really have an annoying bug

Yep    And the other is the Sentinal armor you get in the blackmarsh

I have a lot of achievements unlocked.  but that took MANY complete runs!   lol

I believe you should try a mod-free playtrough...

Hirol's armor is more nice.. Both Velanna and Nat falled in love for my HFN after she wear it.. 
I also falled in love for my character after she wore it

Mine can't  "Rogue" which really annoyed me not finding all the peices to the Blackblade armor

I really hate when you have to find all the pieces of an armor all around the world..one in a dungeon, one in a chest, one from a merchant even because often I always forget who has what.. Here is the reason why I have only set of armors you can find all the pieces in the same place...like juggernaut or legion in Origins, or Hirol's in this game...

And I would say more.. Even if now they will fix most of these bug, I am not surely going to play it again just becuase of it ! What is done is done by now....
I have already forget Oghren's quest and blackblade armor....

Hi Twiggles.  Hope you're having a good day. From reading these posts, it looks like I missed enough to force a 2nd playthrough, so I can't tell if things are bugged or I just missed it!
