Ah the Witcher, might boot it up again tonight, it was actually better then DA at providing morally challenging decisions (and I was mid-way through Geralt in a Shanni romance, still wonder if Triss will barbecue me at some point, but I do miss Yenifier )

I made 3 runs with that game...  i loved it and so ready for The Witcher 2.. Doesn't look like that will be done any time soon though. they got smart and are using a better engine.

Well seems like I have to play the Witcher one of these days... After I will finish my first playthrough with ME2, make a 2nd playthrough with Male Shepard, and..yes.. I am waiting also for Alpha Protocol, the new Obsidian RPG game...

I loved the Witcher ... I was part way through chpt3 when I switched from XP to Win7 .... After, I could not re-install it!

It is a Vista/Win7 problem with the old version of the Taga diskcheck DRM they used ...

I have since downloaded the new Taga version, but still had problems. I gave up and searched for solutions, and I think I found it. Then DA:O arrived, and I put the Witcher installation on hold ...

I've not played it. I know a few that have. not really gotten much feedback on the game though.

I played Risen not long ago. Eh.. not epic by any means. it was some what entertaining. but seemed really lazily made to me.

Well, be prepared if you want to re-install...
The Witcher is very much an XP game and does not play well with Win7

It works ok on VIsta, so maybe it's just Win7 (good thing I haven't got it yet for my PC, Vista was enough trouble at times)

Max.  I was not correcting you.  :)  I was reversing the "who lives so far away"   as in.  "you" are the one that lives so far away.. i'd never tease you about your english

Ordered mine from Gamestop on Friday so I could pick it up in-store and not charge the credit card.
