  I know how you feel.  I felt that way too at first.  In fact, I was furious.  I had grown attached to my companions...some are especially close to my heart.  But the more I have read the boards, reviews, etc. the more I've come to realize this is much like when a military member goes on temporary duty and leaves his/her family behind for a period of time.  As long as I know the family is still there, it will be ok and I'll do my duty so I can return home. 

Kharizma.. I get what you are saying.. But the real problem is that we don't know if they will ever show us that we are returning home... or if they will tell us that after all our adventures we are going to return home, or if at least they will tell us there is someone that is waiting for us returning home. Until I have no confirmation of at least one of these things I have no reason to play this game...

I don't know about Redcliff.. I always did it at the beginning of my playtrhough.. 1st place after Lothering... But I believe nightfall is waiting for you... all monsters, problems, folks and all that jazz are always waiting for you to show up

Yes, It must make the warden feel extra special having entire towns and cities just hanging in the balance waiting for their arrival.. Amazing really! I am on treaty #2.. still not been to Redcliff. I needed to switch things up a bit.
