Thank Goodness!  I'm actually on my own tonight.  Hubby is at a photography class.  So, after supper it's DA:O for me!

DA:O time is always well spent time? That is me rationalizing my gaming habits of course.  I am totally okay with that! 

I've never been so obsessed with a game in my entire life.  I'm really trying to figure out why this silly thing has affected me so.  Story must have touched a nerve...

Just a few random thoughts after reading what I missed...not necessarily in any particular order, mind you.

Regarding age:  Methuselah is my kid brother, Bri, so yeah, cubits and I go way back 

Woot, a party in the Deep Roads sounds like lots of fun...I'll bring the booze.

Oddly enough, Liso, I too am between 18 and 99 years old.

I would never have guessed that was Alicia Keys and you have very good taste, Max!

Sometimes I could just smack Duncan...why isn't there an option to do that with people in this game...when killing is too drastic but a good smack in the mouth would do the trick.  I would stand in front of Isolde and hit that "smack" button over and over.

The only time when I'd like to smash Alistair is after Landsmeet if you have not him hardened...

when he tries to force me to kill Loghain acting as child..

During my first playthrough I had not him hardened.. Well.. after I saw how she kills Loghain, I loaded the previous saved game, gave the crown to Anora and sent him in exile...

Yeah I read that Morrigan is inspired by Victorria Johnson, looked her up before but don't think she looks much like her... I actually think Morrigan looks more like Claudia Black, but that could just be me hehe... I wonder if they blended Claudia and Victorria's looks together to get the Morrigan look...

The only games that ever had me this addicted where Neverwinter Nights and The Sims 2... Perhaps World of Warcraft during the first few months.
This game is different though its not just the urge to get further with the game but more to get to know everything there is to know about the companions (and especially a certain one hehe). That is rather unique even to me!

Age is relative, you're only as old as you feel!

They have a mod to slap Morrigan... though I have no clue why anyone would want to slap her...

There is a mod out called Dragon Age Redesigned that does some interesting modding of many NPC faces through out the game. Check out the images section to see what they did to replicate Morrigan as Victoria Johnson. Also, for Max, he should check the Leliana image ...

I definately prefer the standard Morrigan... There's also this concept art Morrigan which makes her look way too sweet hehe!  Dunno the stardard Morrigan look suits the character best imho!  Not sure which Leliana I prefer either but I think the one in the mod makes her look younger... Some of the other characters in the screenies of that mod look a lot better however!

Yeah I have this mod (but had installed the Morrigan and Leliana mods it contains from their original mod sources previously) and I definitely prefer both, Leliana looks like her Sacred Ashes trailer self more, and Morrigan now has more the feel of Morrigan of Irish myth and Morgan Ley Fey for me, which makes her much more appealing personal, and for me personally it seemed to fit her better.

Was even approved by Gaider himself

Thanks Curlain, I did not know Gaider gave his stamp of approval!
I completely agree with you regarding Morrigan and Leliana... Much more of a Celtic feel to Morrigan's character with the mod, and Leliana is a hugh improvement from the original.
In the instruction pdf file for the mod, they say not to use the mod for your first play through, but  I think the mod should be use straight away... I could never go back to the original versions...
